Looperman V3 Coming Soon
It's been many years since we have been able to announce any major updates but we're glad to say that we'll be rolling out those changes soon.
The current site has its limitations in design and maintainability and the existing server hardware has reached its end of life and needed to be updated and so it's all being replaced.
Since the previous update a mobile friendly design has been something that all sites have had to adjust to and hopefully the new system we have in place will work much better in that department and make future updates and improvements simpler.
As you can imagine there is a large amount of data and files that need to be transitioned and so the whole process wont happen overnight but will happen in stages. As the code base has changed and not been tested in a live environment we'll not be activating every new feature right away and some existing things will be retired.
One of those features that we are retiring in its existing form is the forum. For a long time its acted more as a notice board rather than a discussion and so by the time you read this you will have noticed that it has faded away.
To allow us to focus on getting this done we'll not be accepting any new requests for access to upload acapellas or free loops etc. Those who already have access can carry on as normal for now.
When we are almost ready to launch we'll make an update to this post with more information on what happens next.
Finally, thanks for all your support over the years and please bear with us while we make things happen.
Do you have by any chance a version of this site as a vst plugin? something I can open up in fl studio and have instant access to a full library of the samples that are available on this site?

i think it would be a better idea to have the old loops separated from new/active ones rather than archived & inaccessible. there's some good shit in the really old ones

I might sound ambitious, but I'm hoping for a feature that lets loopmakers collaborate on publishing loops.
A needed refresh to the site is cool to see and I hope looperman doubles down on its already great service.
One thing that I've always wanted is the ability to use your arrow keys to go down the list of samples. If anything, could you guys please consider this addition??
Love this site, please reconsider the forum removal or at least give us another option to chat please. This is a great community that got me into music production as a CHILD!

Since February 27th I've also had the problem that the "Featured Tracks" page is empty... nothing... zero. Now my life has lost all meaning and I think I'm going to the desert. Or to the Nagual...
I cannot get anything to appear when I click on the tracks page, any of the tracks pages, uploads or featured. I just get a white page. Maybe a temporary issue. All other tabs work fine. I've tried accessing the tracks page from my home page, one of my track's page, the site's homepage... with no luck.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Also, for a few years now, maybe half the time I open a new page it doesn't open properly, the track waveform is orange and nothing on the page works. If I reload the page it usually fixes the problem. I just bought a new imac, hoping this might fix that issue but it is still doing it, not loading the pages properly. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Is anyone having that issue as well?
