Jam With Chrome - Play music live with your friends online

JAM with Chrome is a web based musical project created by Google. JAM with Chrome lets people from all over the world form a band and jam in real time inside the browser.

You can choose from 3 bass guitars, 6 guitars, standard or brushed drums, Techno , analogue or hip hop drum machines, brass, strings or analogue synths and piano or electric keyboards. Every instrument has an easy or pro mode that gives you more control over how you play them. You'll also find a stereo delay and chorus or filter on most instruments.

In order to make this more fun you can invite friends to your jam by sending them a link or sharing your jam on Google+, twitter or facebook. There is also a live chat function which includes updates on who's playing what.

You'll need Google Chrome installed in order to run this. Apart from that its just a case of visiting http://www.jamwithchrome.com and following the instructions.

Heres the promo video that doesn't show much in real terms but is fun anyway.

Check out the Skrillex lama !

This is crazy. I don't understand how Google has managed to do all of this in REAL TIME. I guess you would need a maxed out RAM, a super fast processor, and the fastest internet connection possible. Hmmm... I'll check it out one day.

I tried this. Make sure you have a VERY good internet connection. Was pretty fun for a few minutes. Then I kind of got bored. It was hard to keep time using a computer keyboard. :) That's my two cents. xoxo - GG
