Replyhow do you create a flam hit in acid pro?
 |
I'm running acid pro 7c with superior 2.0 loaded as a vst. I'm in the piano roll editor and i want to create a flam hit. Does anyone know how to do this without having to load an altogether new sample?

it's been 4 days and not one person(s) has replied. right, before i start, i just have to say i dont use or never have used acid pro. the only thing i can advise is that you put the notes side by side using only one square per note, if it doesn't sound like a flam try and change the input mode to 1/32 and then try putting them side by side, i hope you understand this, if you don't understand it then send me a message through my contact me page and then i'll send you my email so you can send me a screenshot of the piano roll with no notes on it and i'll try and help you from there.

people probably haven't replied for a couple reasons. I'd say mainly, most people wouldn't know what a flam is. Especially for the music style that Acid is geared towards.
But basically, I was gonna try seeing how close I can zoom in in the piano roll editor and see if that gets close enough. like you suggested.
Another option was to turn off the quantize and see if I can get those hits in pretty close to each other on the same track. If not, then create a seperate track altogether with the quantize turned off. i'm wondering if you can turn the quantize off on a per note basis. |
