BeatMasterDoubleR seems to be a pretty renown artist on this site. With a track over 1,000 listens and over 20 reviews, WHY ARE YOU RE-UPLOADING ALL OF YOUR SONGS!?
You have no reason to try to cheat the little system here so you can get more reviews, in fact, you lose all respect that I had for you. All you're doing is pushing down all the other members tracks that actually NEED a review, and all you're doing is sending their tracks down the abyss, never to be seen again. Well done. Inconsiderate degenerate.
It's because of people like you that tracks are hardly heard, raping the chances of the common artist getting seen. Yeah, your tracks are alright, BUT CHRIST, give someone else a darned chance. There are better artists out there than you that make better music than yours, there are artists out there that have way more potential than you that just need a little inspiration to get things moving forward. If you want to be so seen, then start reviewing other peoples tracks like a madman, so you can rape that little box in the top right. LEAVE THE TRACK SECTION ALONE. |

Yeah I noticed he does that too. Very annoying, but I gotta say he's got some good tracks. Having said that, we don't need to be flooded by them every few days. I don't care about my tracks not being heard coz of him, coz we all have our own following, but it'd be nice to see him chill out. We've heard em mate, now give us something new. Don't wish to start a "thing" like they love to here, so this is all I'll say and then back out coz I'm sure others feel the same way. Peace, and keep em FRESH my man, for gods sake!

Everyone "grinds hard" on their tracks mate, you just re-upload em ten times as much. Thirty thousand listens is no big deal if thats how you get there ;). Chimpguys got a point, and I'm glad he brought it up coz otherwise I would have. Peace man, and no ones throwing punches, maybe you cant understand how frustrating it is for the rest of us. I think loop holes like this need to be stitched up so everyone is playing on level ground. No disrespects to beatmaster, but you upload a track, that's it. No more manipulating the numbers. Let's all play fair and square!

I have to agree..
re uploading a track just to get to the top of the list is pretty slack. If your track has not been remixed, remastered or bettered in some way they there is no need to upload it apart from to try and gain some sort of an edge on everyone else.
Ill see what can be done but its a shame that I should have to waste time blocking loopholes when I could spend that time doing something more positive.
One thing to add is that the tracks in the competition are listed with those that have the LEAST plays appearing first so that people are more likely to listen to something they have not heard before when choosing their favourite track in each genre |

i cnt believe what am hearing here. this am sorri to say it totally unfair. why i you guys pickin on me? the last time i check lots of members do it. so beat master is the only name you recognize right? i cnt believe this. why? why? why?[lol] lot of hating has gone towards me because of what, am from the U.K or i try to make good tracks? i wanna know this answers? planetjazz also throw i jab at me, but if i was the one doing this, i could be ban, someone told me there are people better than you, and stuff, that not an insults at all but if i said it, it an unsult. i was critize last year because i was making a joke but someone else can make a joke an get away with it. why? why? |

Mate relax, we're only telling it like it is. It's not coz ur from the UK (whaaa?) and definitely not coz you have good tracks (some of them are VERY good) but coz of what you do to make em stand out. Trust me, everyone here agrees its a punk move to keep re-uploading tracks just to stay "in the scene". I know lots of people re-upload tracks, but if you look carefully, they've always made changes to it. Even I've re-upped some tracks, but ONLY coz I've either been tinkering with the levels or eq's or if I've fundamentally altered the structure. Having said that, we all agree your a very talented producer, but stuff like this just dilutes your reputation mate, and thats all you have as an artist. Hope you're not taking this too seriously, and I really hope you'll realise whats what. I'm only posting this coz ur one of my fav producers here and I dont want you to think we're all taking a jab at you. Not the case here, we're only telling you like it is.

@Shan. It is a shame you are having to waste time on this, but, we have to look at this like the MP's expenses row lol... People don't like being deceived. I have no problem with Beatmaster or anyone else who has done this in the past, but as soon as a few people see what's going down and point it out, you must nip it in the bud fast. I'm sure more members will find this thread an interesting read/laugh, and get involved with this debate..

@chimp - its cool to raise a point but making personal attacks on anyone is not cool.
@beatmaster - its clear that anyone trying to up the system in not really fair on everyone else. This is not just you but anyone who does that. hear whats been said and move on. Its good that you have a passion for your stuff but as slap said lets keep a level playing field
@everyone - dont try and abuse the system. their is no point as it only causes tension and end up with the reverse effect. Its pretty easy to spot when someone is trying to get one up.
I hate it when the forums are used for bitching and people do and always will get a ban for it. If there is a problem deal with it in the right way. The world is not gonna end just cause someone re uploaded a track

Ah, I apologize. I've been around Newgrounds for too long. BeatMaster, the comment was unneeded, and I shouldn't have come at you like that.
@Loop, It just pisses me off sometimes to scroll down the list of new tracks and look at all of the users who spend all that time on making a song, just to upload it and get less than 6 listens and no reviews. It makes me feel bad, because I know what that feels like starting out, and it doesn't help your music esteem to the slightest bit. I don't like bitching, complaining, moaning, etc., but this is also why you have a rant/Rave section. To blow off some steam, you know? I just got back, and plan to use the forum as much as I can for information and feedback. |

@chimpyguy dont worry about man, i do understanding what you saying to be honest. just put your point across right that all. am a man so i do take critizism, but not to worry, am gonne be off this site for while any ways, baby is on the way, which is more important and do your thing. am bout tracks geting heard and geting reviews. i believe if you work hard on your tracks, doe not matter if i have millions of tracks on top of yours people will listen and review your track more than the million. Keep it going people. no harm done. stay positive and aim high. thanks alot. |

This proves one thing..the truth will always out...and I hope this will also but an end to the by now predictable announcements of how grateful certain people are of the many fans they have that apparently push their track plays up and up.......I totally concur with Chimpy...If it quacks and floats it's probably a duck..you can't equate or even begin to rationalise behaviour when it comes to the ego,in this caper your only as good as your last track. |

im gonna close this as both guys have chilled out and spoken sense again :-) respect to both of you for that.
last thing to add is that I would prefer people to use the site to work together and grow musically and not concentrate so much on the numbers. Focus on making great music and great friends along the way and leave the dog eat dog race to be famous for other sites |
