If you have time take a listen and give GryllaQ some feedback.
I don't listen to much music with lyrics, so my comment here is not based on much listening experience. Generally speaking, I would agree with everyone else here who says that it is pleasant to listen to.
The only thing I noticed that is suboptimal: Near the beginning (at ~0:35?), the vocalist sings slowly for a little bit, and the music does not change with the vocalist. Then the vocalist becomes really repetitive starting at ~0:48, and again the music does not change. This gave me the initial impression that the music is out of sync with the vocals. (Interestingly, the music does not strictly follow the vocalist in the second "block" of vocals either, but for some reason I did not even notice that the first time I listened to the song.)
haven`t listened to house in quite a while...nice flow & good memories here...the vocal sounds good & I like the nice kind of light bouncy accompaniment that contrasts nicely with the lower end & beats...the vocal gets burried a little bit in that section around 2:35 (lot5s of synth in the shared frequency range)...but overall its good listening GryllaQ...well done....Ed
Pretty cool stuff! Been listening to an old Paula Abdul cassette lately, and if the modern synthesis were left out, then this would remind me of it a bit. Of course that was more centered around verses as well, but I realize that people don't have the attention span now. Enjoying the feel of the mix very much... minimal and a little bit deep. Fun to hear!
House..haven't been around house music since it was big back in the 80's. Pretty damn long time. Love the energy pumping off of this, very catchy. I like the melody, certainly compliments the vocals. Good mix for first time producing vocals. Great effort, keep bringing it :)
That's pretty neat for someone who made their first vocal track!
Actually, the tone goes well with the vocals!
(It's just that the vocals at the start might be just a bit louder than the tone, or is it just my ears?)
Anyways, great track! I hope you could do more and improve onto the future!
Cheers!
Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : Funk House/Disco inspired by Daft Punk
No Samples used
Instruments:
Various vintage synths
Kontakt libraries: Ilya Efimov Telecaster for guitar, Session Horns Pro, Chris Hein Strings, NI Guitars
Vocals: Plogue Chipspeech & Alter Ego
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment
Description : Melodic Progressive House with the lyrics by Mr.Shammi (visit his account here for incredible nice acapellas!). The ref is in Melbourne-Bounce-Style.
Description : Update: So this was the looper tune that started it all for me on this site. Hard to believe it was Over 10 years ago. This tune carries the ethos I bring to music...interesting, always change the genre mid-flight and you won't see what's coming next. Also cool to see the early comments and who is still around as well. (#Feeling retro tonight) Orig: Trance-step tune that changes direction a few times
Description : EDM song with cliche "Animal" drop. Let me know if you would like the big kicks, claps, or drop synth. (only ones I can give out) Key of F# minor. Made with Ableton Live 9 Suite.
