The vocals could use some mixing into the background, they sound a bit disconnected. And the switch between the two acapellas is a bit abrupt.
The background on its own has some cool ideas.

Sorry, I’ve been super swamped lately.
I like the chord progression, the kick sound is a bit muffled. I would add a bit more instruments, to add some variety, but that’s probably down to preferences, some prefer more minimal trance.
Overall it’s not a bad start, but could use something more.
Just my two cents :)

Acapellas found on looperman.com are NOT royalty free. The user who uploaded the acapella retain all rights over their acapellas. You may use acapellas uploaded here in your non commercial projects but for anything else you must get in contact with the artist who uploaded them to organise things."

I really like the chords in the beginning. Compliments the vocals nicely. Just I would pay a bit more attention to the timing of the vocals, it's not exactly on the beat.
