Description : This is something that I quickly threw together late last year and lost when my old computer failed. I found it in my email, and I decided to share it because I haven't been recording lately. It's an example sequence of short-takes, not a long-take recording.
Description : This is a song that I made some years ago and got around to making recordings of a few months ago. This isn't a long take recording; it's an example sequencing of a series of individually recorded parts.
The tempo averages out to around 67 BPM. I intentionally varied it between the intro parts and the rest of the song.
The genre is truly Vaporwave, but RnB was close enough, so I chose that. It could be considered Downtempo Electronica too.
Description : I had a sudden burst of inspiration and completed Emboldened and then renamed it Bold. It was tough to sing in a long take with all the sustained notes, but I did it, lol.
It's still a House song, specifically Deep House. I've recorded the vocals in segments as well if anyone's interested.
Description : A song that I originally put together about a year ago. I've made tweaks and changes as the months have passed and finally think that it's good enough to share.
Description : Yet another rewrite of Messenger. I feel that I've come quite a long way since the first version. The first, and the second for that matter, weren't very good... I think this one is great in comparison.
Description : A song that I wrote a while ago but haven't had time to develop into a recording until very recently. This is a long take recording, like usual.
Description : This is a song that I wrote over the past couple of weeks. I think it is the best one that I have written so far.
I have a few more songs that I'm going to rewrite or finish writing. Hopefully in the oncoming months I can also start recording in a studio so that I can share better files.
Description : I've become better at singing and songwriting (or at least I think I have), and I've started rewriting and re-recording several songs while writing some new ones. This is a re-recording of Boom, a House A Capella that I came up with some time ago.
Description : I heard an awesome Synthwave-style House instrumental some days ago (I cannot share it, sorry). I originally wrote a chorus to accompany the instrumental, and then I developed an entire song around the chorus.
I think the full vocals would be more appropriate as part of a rock song but still could work in an electronic song too.
Description : So I had originally intended to work on the full version of this song over the course of some weeks, but I came to the conclusion that I need to be prolific more than perfectionistic if I am going to become good at songwriting.
So here we are; Boom: vocals for an uplifting house song.
Description : I wrote this around a week ago. I categorized it as a verse because it's a verse and chorus. There's more to this song, but these are the only verses that I think are any good.
I'll eventually rewrite the full song, when I can think of a way to improve it. I'll likely change the Chorus melody long before then.
Description : This isn't really a full song, but it has enough content to constitute two verses, a pre-chorus, and a chorus for a house song. I would want to add at least an intro, maybe also an outro, to give it more depth.
I have entered it as an audition for a producer's project.
Description : Like Messenger, I have rewritten this song several times. I received positive feedback on a previous version, but I wanted to share this one because I think it is better.
Description : This is an experimental song: I was playing with lyrical development based on the advice that was given to me by a producer whom I know. It was also an excuse to practice singing in lower octaves.
Description : I got some advice from a producer whom I know, and I rewrote Messenger for the upteenth time. I intend for this to be the last rewrite, but not the last performance, of this song. Like my previous uploads, this is a raw, long take recording.
I will always appreciate any advice or perspectives on improving the song or improving in general. I am also open to working with others to make new songs.
Description : This is a song that I have rewritten several times. I think this version is alright, and I have gotten some positive feedback on it. I am sharing it to see what else can be improved as well as to improve in general.
Description : I produced this for a contest; the goal was to develop a harmony and lyrics for an existing instrumental. I lost but had fun, and I don't think the lyrics are horrible, lol.
The genre of the instrumental was tropical house.
