Blocking, Ignoring & Following Users

We provide several ways to help you filter results and manage who can view your content:

These functions are relevant to your choices and only work when you are logged in or have selected them in the search preferences.

You can block, ignore, or follow users on their profile page or via the popover revealed after hovering over their name.

Block Users

A blocked user can no longer contact you, and your uploads won't show in their search results when they are logged in. Blocking a user does not remove their content from your search results. If you wish to do this, ignore them instead.

Ignore Users

When you ignore a user, you can filter your searches to remove their content from the results. Content uploaded by ignored users is not removed from search results by default. You must set this option in the advanced search form.

Follow Users

When you follow another user, you can filter your searches to include only their content in the results. Results do not only show followed users' content by default. You must set this option in the advanced search form.

Can I see who has blocked, ignored, or followed me?

We don't show this information as we didn't want this to turn into a popularity contest. The options are just there to help you filter your results.
