I used Massive for this sound, then modulated the volume so it would be louder on the off beat, commonly known as sidechaining.
You can create plucks like this in Massive (or other synths) by running an oscillator through a lowpass filter, then create an envelope to modulate the cutoff on the filter so it has no attack and a decay around 10 o-clock.
Search it on youtube, I probably didn't explain it too well, haha; thats where I learned from.
