If you have time take a listen and give mcskynard some feedback.
Oh yes! I like this a hell of a lot. Kinda reminded me a bit of Korn, especially the "Untouchables" album era.
I'm really into the electro/metal style and this ticks all the boxes for me.
I had to mess around with my speakers to get a decent listen, but the mastering comes with time (I know because I'm still having difficulties with it).
A great piece my friend, I look forward to hearing more of your work. Keep them coming.
Hmm.. Can u throw a lead guitar in to help on breakdowns and to give a good bridge between lyrics.. Maybe u culd try having two lead guitars and intertwine and I don't mean same chords just diff pitch I mean like 1 plays 2nd plays and goes back and forth and compliments each other without playing similar chords. Just sumthing I always wanted to attempt lol we need to keep as much melody as we can wile keeping it as heavy as possible.. And mayb we can try diff speeds of tempo cuz thrash songs r fun to play.. xD lemme mo way u think
all i got to say is.. MOST EXCELLENT!! xD well and i deff wanna hear more from u!! i luv the mix and better yet the guitar doesnt hav that heavy distortion that is seen so much on demos. again excellent!! im lookin 4 projects so if u need a screamer or growler gimme a yell xP
Thanks for listening.I had a break from playing guitar for a couple of months and this was the first song i done,so its nice that im getting some good feedback.Been looking for a vocalist for awhile,so if u wanna give it a go be my guest, just let us know what u need
Oh man. I love electro-infused metal. And I love to see that I'm not the only one trying to create musical pieces within that genre. The riffs are brutal - awesome man. And the 'calm' section of the song was a sweet break. Gave me goosebumps.. The only thing I would like to add is that you could cut some of the lower frequencies of the guitars (200 to 800hz I think), and might boost some between 3 and 5k hz. I think you might get a more clear sound out of it. Anyway - I really enjoyed this one. More of this!
Thanks for listening and the advice, never been much good at eq and mastering its a hit and miss approach i take,so i will give it a go and see if it cleans up the guitar.Been getting into alot of electro music over the last year and like to incorparate into my music as much as i can, looking forward to checking your tunes out if thats the type of style ur going for too.
Holy hell, those are some brutal chops there my friend. I love the electro mixed in, it reminds me of acoustic Nightwish. Very nice track, keep it rockin'.
Description : I asked Danke if I could add some vocals to his track Future Machine and he kindly agreed and sent me the track. The lyrics are about a soldiers experience in war as he and his trench mates are told to get up and out of their trench and attack the enemy across open fields. I can only imagine the fear, tension and chaos that goes through one's mind at that moment.
Description : I discovered Meshuggah around 2003 and was blown away by the power, complexity and super Heavy sound of their music. Their "Nothing" album marked the switch to 8 string guitars and pushed Heavy Metal into a whole new territory. My track is a variant cover of their song "Nebulous". I have stayed pretty close to the original but added a few dynamic elements of my own. Its loud, its super heavy and way out there...Beyond Nebulous.
Description : This unconventional metal track is dedicated to Valvedriver https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/841435 though it's not a parody of his fine music or me actively trying to sound like it. I struggled for months with the first few minutes of this track knowing that I must be able to take it somewhere deeper, more psychedelic and powerful. Then I loaded some sampled choir voice instruments, as used in my track Reckful https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/160356 and suddenly found myself happily in Valveland - not a place I visit often. Feeling amply Valvedriven and newly inspired, I added the last few minutes fairly easily and very quickly. So: it's a twisting, turning mixture of grunge, menacing ambient, mystical metal and ultra-heavy funk. Instruments: electric guitar+bass, synth basses, female choir voices, one synth pad, some other synths on the nastier side of things and a few programmed heavy acoustic drumkits playing a mixture of triplets and straighter grooves. Interesting thoughts appreciated. Favourite bits? Shit bits? Please listen on good headphones/speakers as there's a lot of heavy bass in this. Now get ready to rock: balls out, hands in the air and with rebellious joy in your heart. Just try not to headbang the hell out of your laptop. Go!
Description : Whats up guys?! Been a while I know. Iv'e moved around a lot but have finally settled down and have been hard at work with my metal band. Unfortunately I've had to put my solo work on hold for a bit while I'm recording with the band. We are being professionally recorded now, a very big step up from the last recording of my band that I posted here. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy! We are, Raze The Pyre.
