Very nice, i actually like less dupsteppier, sounds a little hip hoppy which i think is awesome. Brings new sound to hip hop

The "wobbles" are great, but too less to them in the song... More of them would make it dubsteppier.

Hey thanks man!!! I hear ya. I think the next one we do is gonna be a bit more on the filthier side with some more wobblin action. Appreciate the listen and review man...

Sick tune mate! Love the classical melody with the strings and piano, really adds some drama and tension. Which is then perfectly released when the wobbles come in!

The beat is heavy and punchy and the fxs fit nicely. Really enjoyed it, it flows so well. Great work!

Kicks and Subbass!!! Sine wave just mono there in the middle all evil like.. would be awesome imo....

=)

SICK.. and I like how the drums got some reverb mid status.. I was thinking .. damnthemdrums need some verb! And there it was!

Melody was choice and so was title... Strings were wonderful..

Awesome.

Plz add kick and sub sine wave bass around 160-0 hertz.
33 hertz being C1 Just humor me and throw a perfect sine up and follow the bassline around them frequencies.. it will pump this track to pro status in my opinion.
BlumeChoon
BlumeChoon replied Unknown
Hey what's up brother? If I remember correctly the kicks are in mono but I think your right about the sub. Big ups to Becca for the melody and bass wobs... I will do my best and try to update this one. I'm still learning freq's and stuff so I appreciate the advice. When I update this I'm gonna send it to you for your ear of approval...lol... Sick tune you guys created here, spot on collaboration.
The only thing I would say would make it better is to really ramp up that build up that starts at 2:23. Make it go for 4 more bars and add louder synths during the build up, but hey thats my solution to everything ;)
Really nice drum beat you got on this one, and to Becca - well done on your part.
This is what my mind needs right now, thanks guys.

some great stuff brother... you two seem to work well together...

for me that snare needs a little more snap to it...maybe try changing it up... not on every hit but maybe every other or one in a bar... and thats my only suggestion other than maybe a few more sfx in there to add a little more texture

the bass balance is brilliant....

you pair should come up with a band name.... we could always use tracks of this quality on the label...

nice one...

keep 'em coming brother
BlumeChoon
BlumeChoon replied Unknown
What up brother? Thanks man... Yeah I agree with you on the SFX thing. I think it needs something extra too to fill in the gaps. Yeah Becca and I had thought about a name as well. We were thinking like B&B productions or something along those lines. Wow!! We would be honored to join Housefly!!! Gonna keep grinding away and get some quality stuff for ya! I appreciate ya stoppin in to have a listen and for the costructive review!!!

DJ Becca's talent for melodies and your beat production mesh extra fresh. I'm still a rookie in the production arena so I cant comment on technicalities. The Artists on this site have made me a fan of dub-step and I bump this at high levels !!!

Ive wanted to try and do a hip-hop flow over a dub-step beat for
a bit and mentioned a collab to Becca . Maybe we could all figure something out. Or maybe you could just remix a pre-existing track of mine into dub-step. Altered Beast Remix I believe would be a sick dub-step candidate as it has many cool samples from the early stand up arcade classic. Let me know..e-mail address on profile

Nice man, snare is a little old skool (not the good kind lol) hit the snare up with a tight higher pitched, low-mid snare and a clap about 2-8ms ahead to give it a flanged feel.
The high passed bass should get a bit more 500-1.5Khz's to give it a bit more mid's.
Other than the easy-pick-vocals :P it's a sick tune mate!
Keep it up

I'll have to see if I can get'em lower and louder and repost this one. If you got any ideas for good subs let me know??? I used the talelek7r0II vsti for the bass subs. But besides all that...lol...
