Description : RG performing a classic Bob Dylan song.
RG~Guitars, Bass, Keys, Vocal, Drum Programming, and of course Engineering. No copyright violation here kids as I Simply built the arrangement from the ground up by multi tracking in ACID 6. Started with a metronome and went from there. Covers, originals, it's ALL music to me. Once again, not for sale...just for sharing so please don't bother our Looperman host with my cover makeovers as he is plenty busy enough deleting sample thieves accounts. Takamine acoustic electric, Fender Strat, Gibson EB-1 Bass, Kurzweil K2000S Keys, Discrete Drums, Enjoy. RG

Thanks Jamie. Blood on the Tracks...another one I would love to explore. You know the weird thing about Tangled is the cadence of the vocal and I did hack it a few times, however considering the song has no fewer than 7 verses...I thought this one would be a piece of cake and the opposite is what I got. It took me a few months to put this one together. Tried for awhile reading the lyrics while tracking but for some reason that never worked. I finally found my way through the novel by memorizing the lyric verbatim and just letting it go.
We'll see about "Blood on the Tracks" Jamie.
Your kind consideration is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Wayne.
Ah yes Hurricane. You know I have a good friend in Phoenix who has been relentlessly insisting I give that one a try for some time now. I really like Hurricane a lot and I do enjoy mimicking the way Bob goes about his phrasing and such. It's a blast. Plenty of signature vocal trademarks to mess with. I also dig applying vocal styles and elements of John Lennon, George Harrison, The Rutles of course. I borrow from Springsteen, Hendrix, Stephen Stills, Greg Lake, etc. Something about their vocal approach makes the story even more intriguing. I guess it is indeed time to finally jump in and see what I can do with Hurricane. Thanks for the nudge, the props, your time and positive spirit.
Seeking out my dark shades, Dylan hat and harmonica harness now.

Good to hear someone else doing Dylan covers! This is really well done! The vocals are especially good! Nice job programming the drums! Nice guitar and bass playing! I like this song! Great work!
Thank you Spivkurl.
I see you have also wandered down the Dylan road as well.
If you get a chance, you might enjoy a song I composed entitled "Hair Like Bob Dylan" posted here.
Inspired by the Martin Scorsese documentary "Bob Dylan: No Direction Home". A heartfelt tribute and typical arrangement for me, but with added fun of a Dylaneske harmonica break. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : In the 1700's the Comanche Indians became known as the Lords of the Southern Plains. The Comanche ruled a region that stretched across New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and deep into the Texas Panhandle. The most feared and savage warriors of all the tribes of the old West.
Many believe their spirits still ride the night wind here.
Some Willie G style picking to a buffalo skin drum beat.
