I saw your avatar whilst i was reviewing one of Spivkurls tracks so i thought i'd pay your profile a visit and check out some of your tunes. Haven't heard nothing from you for looooooong time. Anyway, this is sounding really cool, reminds me a little of john digweed with regards to the riff. I could listen to that all night. Anyway, the site aint the same without the old faces so where are you girl? You should come back because you make good tunes and what else are you doing anyway?
Kind regards (a very drunk) Free Radical (A.K.A. Nick Q)
It was good to see your avatar come up and even more of a pleasure to listen to your tune!!

Super Happy Rainbow, kawaii name. (You called it Kablonk before ;))
Still, I love the song. It reminds me of neon tutus, neon tights, fuffy pink leg warmers, and cute fuzzy boots.
Hope to her more of your stuff soon,

Thank you!

Yes, I decided that it really deserved a better title, and being the super happy sounding, colorful song that it is, "Super Happy Rainbow Song" it became, lol.

I've been kinda busy lately but I'm hoping to get re-dedicated to music-making real soon!

Thanks so much for the comment!

Sadly, it's nearly impossible for people with creativity and originality to get record deals these days, lol. I could try a little harder I guess.

Thanks!

I am SOOO glad you have returned Ms.Koukotsu!!!
I confess to having heard this track before your fellow Loopers and I must say it is still on my curent playlist. I absolutely LOVE this track. Your best ever imho.
I plan to return actively to Loopermans shortly myself and the first track I will upload is a collab that you gave me inspiration for called Gobblygook...lol (what a terrible title)

Thank you! It's so weird how the tracks I spend the least amount of time working on turn out to be the most enjoyable, lol.

And yeah, you should expect nothing less that terrible titles from me, look at the one you just finished reviewing! Definitely not my strong point!

I'm glad to be back, I didn't realize how much I loved this site until I left; I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon, unless something horrible and unpredictable occurs, lol.

Thanks for leaving a review, now I have some serious catching up to do! (I've been a bit lazy lately, as usual.)

Repetitive or not, this song has some nice quality synths and keyboard playing. Lovely arpeggios. It does have a certain Asian flair to it in those arpeggios. Good job!

Loving The Music,

lol, the Asian flair is something I just can't seem to get rid of, kind of like a thick foreign accent or something!

Thanks for listening, I promise I'll get around to repaying all of the reviews real soon!

Signature sound time? Salook's right, within 15 seconds of pressing play, if I'd heard it elsewhere I would have asked, "is this Koukotsu?"

You've got such a great sense of rhythm and melody!

Koukotsu replied Unknown
My signature sound is like a thick foreign accent that simply refuses to ever go away! Not a bad thing at all though, lol.

This was one of those tracks that I didn't have to fight with too much, it just sort of put itself together in a matter of a day or so. Another lucky accident I guess, lol!

Thanks so much for listening and reviewing!

I had to do a double take.....my peripheral vision caught your name....Interesting that, and I'm glad it's turned out to be more than an ephemeral vision....very cool to see you back!...Everyone's music is a small reflection of themselves in some way I guess..this is full of energy, optimism and a fair degree of electronic melancholia......fantastic!! :)

Yep it's me, lol.

Hopefully I've matured a bit during the off season, and I don't think I'll be running away again anytime soon!

Thanks so much for the review, I shouldn't even have to say that I'm eager to get over to your profile and hear what you've been up to since I've been away.

Thanks so much PJB!

I like the track and I like how you've mastered the piece. Hate when the bass drum or the bass are three miles ahead of the rest of the instruments.

Very Well DOne

Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...

Description : Pretty basic dance track. Was experimenting with the Falcon synth plugin, hence the name. Instrumentation for the melody lines might be a bit unusual, more orchestral. Vocoder is from the Icarus synth plugin, a great new instrument.
