The bass really reminds me of The Beatles for a some curious reason. Nice feel to this one. Loving the percussion. A real feel good tune just the right amount of reverb on the vocal. Job is a good un IMO :)
Feeling ill today, so this track is a really nice pick me and really cheered me up! Really good vocals and arrangement. A very enjoyable listen. Well done!
i really like this man. its one thing making a track on computer but actually singing and playing your own instrument is something else. well done. i enjoyed listening to it :) thanks for reviewing my tracks :)
Nice job man, I like the vocals on this, the way they sound set the mood of the track nicely. Not sure some of the tips offered regarding the vocals are really what this track needs, I think it would change the atmosphere of the song and take away from it.
As to the vocal recording: I say this to all people that do this, so don't be disheartened...
I think that recording identical vocal tracks and then layering them together sounds tacky on their own, especially when played throughout the whole track. I've never been a fan of it...
I would STRONGLY suggest recording:
a) a harmony (one octave up but in a different key)
b) an *almost* "spoken" version of the lyrics
c) a recording in a lower register, (depending on your range at present and octave or two lower)
and then panning these extra bits either left or right in key parts of the track to add depth. (not all the way through the track though)
Don't be afraid to use your chest voice either! this is where the power comes from (all of which can be learned from DL'ing Brett Manning's singing success from btjunkie - but I didn't tell you that ;) )
A simple - but GREAT example is "Hoobastank - the reason" very subtle, but very powerful. Study the vocals in that...
Like you, this chap doesn't use vibrato, but still sounds amazing!
Hope this puts you in the right direction for fulfilling your vocal ambitions :)

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
Description : A rhythm guitar track I made and sent to my cousin on the East Coast. Made with Tape-A-Talk app. from the Google Play Store. Download and collaborate with it.
Description : My very first acoustic piece in quite a while..
I hope someone grabs this and puts some vocals to it.
The software I used is Reaper, Addictive Drums and Gearbox.
Hardware is a Jackson RR3 plugged into a Line 6 Pod X3..

Good job, reminds me of a "non electro" MGMT. Your voice.
With the right stuff, you could be big
