Breakbeat mayhem ahoy! I'm digging this mate. You come up with some of the best noises on the site without a doubt. I dunno how you make those synths of yours but it's a talent not to be overlooked. This is pumping mate!! A propper breakbeaty techno mash up with some really trippy synthwork going on. This would definitely get you going on the dancefloor. I like the breakdown into the reese type synth.
It's a futuristic funked up synth fest from start to finish and it's certainly got my head nodding. It's also pretty epic at just over five minutes.
Trippy and hard!!!

Hey thanks buddy! I can't take much credit for the noises, as SUBSPORT (aka SPEX aka GoonHackz) did the main sound design on this one. Seems like so long ago, but it still has some value for sure. His stuff is always pretty heavy and hardcore, and it seems to always be what you expect, which is nice sometimes. Thanks very much for the listen!

Wow you've changed Spiv. It's been too long since I heard one of your pieces. I know this is a collab and it works well for me. Real Breakbeat. Had me tapping me foot. This is a very mature piece and has a nice full range compared to some of your earlier pieces. Well mixed and the mastering is nice too. I prefer these to the more Electronic style (tonal) that characterized some of your earlier pieces. This is very good.

I'm not sure if this is a good one to base your decision on, since SUBSPORT/SPEX did all the sound design. But yeah my mixing and mastering style has changed a lot. Thanks so much for listening! I'm glad you liked the mix!

Play 2 now...

Cool collabo, guys! Def diggin the drums (and really lovin the paced out low bass buzz going on here). Currently shakin da schtuffingz outta my sub, haha. Kinda reminds me of the way TravisHuckins does his D&B stuff (wonder what he'd think of this?). The only thing that I'd recommend ya consider tweakin is the level/intensity of the effects (eg, the laser perc, comes off a lil too hot for my tastes). Otherwise, I'd say you 2 were spot-on with this one. Cheers!

I'd say it's a mix between electronica breakbeat and drum n bass? But then again I hate labels so why bother! This is brutal, paranoid, and needs to be in the background to some fast-paced horror game. And as always, I can tell you did the mastering as everything is perfectly in it's own place both pan and eq. Good job Spivvvy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and I remastered my Get Ready song, I think you listened to it some months ago when it wasn't finished.. check it out if you want.

Cheers!

I have to agree with Nuada. I wasn't paying much attention and had the knob on 11 and the drums kicked in.....almost knocked my off my chair, hahaha.

Your production is always flawless, and this is no exception. Everything is just crystal clear and sitting nicely in the mix.

Another terrific effort. I think it is time for Shan to give you another 50 slots for your tunes :)

This track is a heavily sampled break beat melange featuring Russian vocalist Doctyabrev and excerpts of speeches in languages of the other three countries including Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Marina Silva of Brazil. There's a whiff of Maceo's "Cross the Tracks" in there too.
