Description : Here is a New Looping tune I just completed. Built this tune based on a Rhodes Organ Rotor Riff that had the Ole Western Feel to it. Used a Rhodes Wurly Loop as my main hook heard throughout along with Tenor Sax, Guitars and a tight Drum Track. I remember the Ole School days when every dance had a song to go along with it -i.e The Twist, Cha Cha Cha, The Jerk - Mabye someone can come up with one and we can call it the TomaHawk. Lol Enjoy! And thanks for listening. Filaofsoul
Thanks Bud Glad you enjoyed. Back then I would try different approaches so no tune was like the previous one and once I used a loop in a song it was retired. Some came close to sound likes but when bought into a different musical environment like new loop. Speaking of Record Shops those were the days. Let me dust off one of dem Crusaders albums.. LOL Fila
hey Filaofsoul...always a pleasure to come to your page and listen to some real live recording...this track is so locked in and grooves so sweet...like taking the first bite out of a good barbeque rib dripping with sauce
Make sure you got plenty of napkins! LOL Thanks for stopping by and taking a listen and glad you enjoyed the song!! Still one of my favorites. Stop back next week will be uploading a new Jazz tune and would like your opinion!! Take and thanks
Some good stuff, here. Love the old school style (wish there were more on LM. We older guys gots ta stick together! Much of what you are listening to now, is on my music machine, too.
The Rhodes is a nice foundation, really ties all the instruments together. Very cool track, reminds me of the 70's. Don't ask me to do the Tomahawk dance, I would probably scalp myself, lol. Nice track, well done!
Man that's just good music right there. Love the tempo, head starts bobbin immediately. I love the organ riffs, i'm always partial to organs. Also like the filtered guitar riff that comes in near the end. Good work put into this one, you can hear it.
Keep Doin It! J.P.
Hey Bear! Just want to thank you for the kind comments this one took about 5 months to finish cause I wanted to get it right since I did not use much of a bass line. Smoothing things out for the next one. Hope to have done in a couple of weeks. Take care! Your Bud Fila
WOW!!!!!This is MUSIC!!!Man i love everything about it the sax comes in perfectly and the guitar just adds that extra flavor to the batch overall you have a real good recipe and came out with an extraordinary track form start to finish. You have a new fan my friend.

There's a great feel and funk to this track. Great job putting this together. The organ sounds are classic and I have a collab going now with a lesli/hammond sound, just great!! Always a pleasure stopping in and hearing your music!
Description : I first discovered the iconic singer Ella Fitzgerald through my parents, my mother who was a renowned vocalist herself had a deep appreciation for the music of legendary artists. I was too young but captivated by the soulful jazz melodies that filled our home on lazy Sunday afternoons. "Summertime" Exudes a timeless touch of elegance it has a special place in my heart. For My Hubbs XXX
All Vocals By Me.
Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.
Instruments Used:
-"WELTMEISTER" upright piano (MADE IN GERMANY in 1938)
-"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
Description : Updated 10/08/2022/ Remastered. I wanted to write something snappy, jazzy, and smooth. Drums, Keys, written, mixed, composed, arranged, and mastered by M.T. Enjoy
Description : I wrote this track about two years ago. I remember at the time I wrote it I was having conversations with BofD and Mark about oddball time signatures so,
I played all the instruments in different time signatures from time to time 3/4 4/4 5,6 &7/8 etc. I wanted this track to be a track where time sigs went to die.
Description : I was working on another track that I couldn't get to work and after a couple hours I gave up disgusted and frustrated and just started playing keyboard a bit, for fun.
And then I wrote this.
Because sometimes that's how our creative brains work. Go figure.

Outstanding track sir! Simple but EFFECTIVE. Once that Rhodes starts pumping,it´s lift off. No looking back when we ride this lil tomahawk.
