Description : This is a neat song. the beat was from a song called irreversible by steinaa. the rest is just random stuff i forgot to give a title to so i dont know who did each loop in the beginning and end. This song makes me wanna headbang and kick ass but its not finished. added crazy voices to begginning intro and fixed the random drop issue. need a bass player on it. Recorded lyrics again and this time its a bit more decent.
also doubled the doubled parts

thank you for listening. i screwed the mixing session of this song up and actually lost that drum beat. ill get it again because i have more to add to it. glad you liked it. honestly i hate my voice but people seem to like it on here so i keep recording all my old songs.
Another sick track man, guitars are sounding more wider great job. Dig that vocals in the beginning, nice touch on that. Just really enjoying that play button on your work a lot man lol like a virgin finally got laid haha dang maybe that's not the best comparison, but you get the idea right(i hope). Anyways man, I just went from bottom to top of your track list, wow didn't realize I played em all till now. Keep up the awesome work Rockist! (I'm not really sure why I keep calling you that but if it bugs you let me know) ^_^ Aight man have a good 1 (I must be after what I've been showing my ears) Peace. Fav'd
How did you manage to get my ex wife to do that opening for your track. Sounds just like her during our divorce and, as a matter of fact, ever since :-)
lol thats funny. its actually me on that track. I ran my mic through my line 6. used the pitch bender and compressor and noise filter. some other crap and it came out like that. had plenty of ex's so i fell ya man. they are always possesed and evil in the end. in fact those words are actually words that were said to me from ex gf's
Pretty cool, except when it drops, it seems very random! Cool riff's tho. This summer when i start working in studio i would love to collab with you. Im a drummer.
Could make some siiiick metal riffs to your stuff man seriously. I can double bass like death metal style and keep jazz/rock/nu metal/any kind of beats and everything. When i get it set up i would love to do that!:)
Come cool stuff going on here. Love the heavy guitar riffs. Can't wait to hear the finished product. Nice to hear another guitar player on the Loop which is not all that common. Cheers - Bilbozo
Thick and heavy guitars, nice! I use Cool Edit as well. It's a great straight forward daw.
Another way to do what Mahloo suggests is to have two guitar rhythm tracks, pan one left and one right abou 50% to start. Then zoom in to the beginning of the first note and just slightly drag one of the tracks to the right just a small amount, offsetting the tracks by just a tiny bit. This will give a thicker and a bit delayed guitar sound, much fuller sound.
You can also use the effects rack and try the chorus plugin. Turn all the moduation sliders on the top of the plugin to the left so they don't have any effect to the track except for the spread slider. Then by using the 3 sliders on the bottom of the pugin, the stereo widening and effects wet and dry sider you can widen a track. I do that with a lot of my tracks.
Good luck and have fun! Cool track and any questions just ask!
right on thank you. I tried what you both suggested and mahaloo13 was dead on the money. im going to post the results in a bit. If you guys have tracks you would like to use me on let me know. I am always down with making music.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : In the 1700's the Comanche Indians became known as the Lords of the Southern Plains. The Comanche ruled a region that stretched across New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and deep into the Texas Panhandle. The most feared and savage warriors of all the tribes of the old West.
Many believe their spirits still ride the night wind here.
Some Willie G style picking to a buffalo skin drum beat.

The track kicks. The guitar is off the wall good.
