Description : This is one of the very first recordings i have ever done. it was made with a 10 dollar walmart mic, samick POS strat copy, Zoom 505, cool edit pro on a machine with only 64 mb of ram. the beat is a simple crappy horrible beat and i hate it with a passion. i have to record this song again because the original was lost when we blasted the old computer with a 12 guage. it was too late by the time i realized what was up. lol rookie mistake. I couldnt ever remember this tune until i was either waking up first thing in the morning or i was about to fall asleep. it was done with several super late night sessions. oh yeah also used a peavey practice bass amp that is only 15 watts.

Yo man, honestly I think your guitar work is simply the best I've heard that I can really feel and really love hearing (even tho quality could be better, but if you listen and take the track as is it does NOT take any feeling out of your creations. Shows a great idea that's endless possibilities! and can only go higher and higher! Maybe we can collab or something. I really would like to use your kind of guitar work in some epic orchestra tracks I've been thinking about. Fav'd + dl! keep doin ya thang Rockist! \m/
Aight have a good one man. Peace.
I like it. If you have the vocals channeled straight down the centre, they shouldn't be too hard to remove. But, truth is, I like it as is. (Mind you, I'm a huge fan of bootlegs, sooooo....)
thank you john. I have to record everything again because everything except what you hear was lost. all in due time. ive wanted to fix it for about 5 years. soon enough. thank you for listening.
thank you. yeah the quality on this is crap but i will re-record everything and use a real drummer on it. dont know when but hopefully by the end of this year.
Acually, considering these seemingly limitations, it turned out out quite well. In fact i think the drum beat fits perfect with the track, of course it could use a little refining and polishing up, but the bsic beat is good. I play guitar too, and I do indeed really like this work.
Just needs a better quality recording, and minor touchups etc..
But its very good.
Description : I asked Danke if I could add some vocals to his track Future Machine and he kindly agreed and sent me the track. The lyrics are about a soldiers experience in war as he and his trench mates are told to get up and out of their trench and attack the enemy across open fields. I can only imagine the fear, tension and chaos that goes through one's mind at that moment.
Description : I discovered Meshuggah around 2003 and was blown away by the power, complexity and super Heavy sound of their music. Their "Nothing" album marked the switch to 8 string guitars and pushed Heavy Metal into a whole new territory. My track is a variant cover of their song "Nebulous". I have stayed pretty close to the original but added a few dynamic elements of my own. Its loud, its super heavy and way out there...Beyond Nebulous.
Description : This unconventional metal track is dedicated to Valvedriver https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/841435 though it's not a parody of his fine music or me actively trying to sound like it. I struggled for months with the first few minutes of this track knowing that I must be able to take it somewhere deeper, more psychedelic and powerful. Then I loaded some sampled choir voice instruments, as used in my track Reckful https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/160356 and suddenly found myself happily in Valveland - not a place I visit often. Feeling amply Valvedriven and newly inspired, I added the last few minutes fairly easily and very quickly. So: it's a twisting, turning mixture of grunge, menacing ambient, mystical metal and ultra-heavy funk. Instruments: electric guitar+bass, synth basses, female choir voices, one synth pad, some other synths on the nastier side of things and a few programmed heavy acoustic drumkits playing a mixture of triplets and straighter grooves. Interesting thoughts appreciated. Favourite bits? Shit bits? Please listen on good headphones/speakers as there's a lot of heavy bass in this. Now get ready to rock: balls out, hands in the air and with rebellious joy in your heart. Just try not to headbang the hell out of your laptop. Go!
Description : Whats up guys?! Been a while I know. Iv'e moved around a lot but have finally settled down and have been hard at work with my metal band. Unfortunately I've had to put my solo work on hold for a bit while I'm recording with the band. We are being professionally recorded now, a very big step up from the last recording of my band that I posted here. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy! We are, Raze The Pyre.

Description : Something I slapped together in like an hour or so, I bought a new midi keyboard with a sequencer which made dragging and dropping sounds where I wanted 'em easy, so really this was a test run, I usually write a lot of metal and don't have the time to upload my material but here's a start, this has a techno vibe???? I guess to it. Enjoy.
Aight have a good one man. Peace.
