I heard Elaine track and I offered to add a little fx to it....
that quickly turned into a remix... I used a load of dblue glitch and changed up the tempo to 170bpm ... the first drums you hear in the track are Elaines original ones sped up a little with a filter.... then I added some stuff to make it kinda my own...
I struggle sometime with the whole concept of remix because most times I lose the essence of the original track.... this remix will probably get accused of that but...this is what I heard in my head when I heard the original...
I made the whole track in ableton with a few loops some vsti's and a shed load of automation... I encoded the track to mp3 with audacity...
any comments welcome as always....

another very good piece of work here again from you, especially with the input from the brilliant Miss Elaine, boy that lady has gotten so serious talent, great FX is this one matey, has nice beat to go with the nice pads used, againas others have mentioned, does not feel like it is at 170 bpm, funny sometimes you can use lower tempo piece's that sound way to fast but again it happens when playing high tempo piece, that they have a chill type of feel as in this track, excellent work once more my friend...fav'd...peace n Respect...Estefano....
thanks brother.... if you enjoyed this one you should check "talk to me" the track I did with all the rejected things from this one....thanks again for the review brother
This is working for me, I like the glitchiness of the drum pattern and Elaines voice is great with all the effects added to it. I had to give it a second listen because I liked it so much.
Is the cracklin sound I'm hearing at the beginning something that you added, giving it a record sound or is it just noise from the original track? I have some awesome noise reduction plugins in Audition that can remove almost any noise without damaging the desired input. If you ever need help with that just give me a shout. I've worked with several people here with noise reduction issues and I am throwing it out there so don't be afraid to ask, ok!
Great track, uplifting and well mixed, too cool, nice one PBJ! Think I'm gonna fav this one, would dl this if available, thanks!
thanks brother....yeah... I added it in because elaine original was so clean I thought it needed that extra edge right from the start... thanks for taking the time brother... make sure you listen to the original the drum track is great... thanks once again..
I thoroughly enjoyed this track...having said that, I haven't yet heard the original...have to check that out sometime today. The first thing that came to mind when I first listened to it was Need For Speed. Not sure if you are familiar with the Need For Speed racing video games, but this track sounded similar to the menu & race music on the game. @170 bpm, it's sounds a bit slower than that lol, but I like the ambiance sounds & the sliding bass. The chime is a nice touch as well, although I think it's volume is too loud and background vox isn't loud enough...Good track overall!
Ah makes me think of Telefon Tel Aviv a little bit...especially with the glitch but also there is a real chill vibe to the track too. It's strange cos it doesn't sound like the tempo is 170. I really like that chime sound you've included...airport lounges spring to mind and busy travellers and Naomi Campbell with her entourage in tow...there's a lady who certainly always wants more :)
I like it, its different to the original certainly but you've still maintained core elements.
thanks elaine .... I've been waiting all day for someone to give me an opinion.... and I'm glad the first one is you... thanks for giving me the opportunity to remix sister.. I'll have to send one your way if you hear one you'd like to take a run at let me know... thanks again

Description : My first Glitch-Hop track. I found some creepy/eery ambient and atmosphere loops to fit the mood. I was happy with it at first... But once I started to listen to it more, I realized it could've been better. Oh well, what artist hasn't had that thought?
