Description : Sounds a bit like a... Chrysanthemum?

How is that possible?! Anything is possible when I'm involved, lol.

This one is a lot closer to my typical sound, without the experimental "edginess" of some of my newer endeavors.

As usual, it's hardly complete, but functional nonetheless!

Lovely piece. I agree it has your "signature" sound and I like this one a lot. I hope to get back myself soon to Looperman but this is my fix for a bit. :) Thanks.

Like it K. Like that deep bass and the awkward melody. Very chilled. I can see tha AFX influence. A bit Selcted Ambient Works 2 only more happy and slightly uptempo. Good job.

Thanks!

Sadly, my good computer finally died on me and took quite a few good tracks with it, including this one!

I'll get it working again one day though, lol.

Thanks for the review!

Thanks!

The last couple of tracks I created were a bit on the rowdy side, so I decided it was time to tone things down for this one.

I'll come repay you as quickly as I can, but I'm getting really far behind now, lol! I've been busier than usual lately and don't have quite as much time to dedicate to this site as I used to.

This is really cool! I really liked the ambience of the melodies. Great synths and an awesome rhythm that flowed effortlessly throughout the whole track. A sea of calm!

Totally brilliant! An outright fave!

Thank you!

I was considering adding more to it, but I'm growing really fond of it's simplicity now.

Thanks for the review, I'll come check out a few of your tracks when I get some free time today!

It's weird, if I listen to one of your songs, you can always tell it's Koukotsu.
Strangely enough, it does feel like a chrysanthemum. A little white flower. I really like it. I will download when I have the chance. On to my iPod for listening.
Love your picture of Miku Hatsune. I really love her music.
Waiting to hear more....

I'm such a Mikutard! She's a much better singer than Katey Perry and isn't even human, lol.

I've thought about using her in some of my songs but most people would be driven insane!

...and I'm working on remixing one of Spivkurl's songs now, but it isn't going so well at the moment.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

Just love how benevolent this is...warm and gentle, really pleasant on the ears here, good stuff as always, you haven't lost your amazing touch....must admit I like your edgy tracks lol but I am hungover today and feeling a little tender...so this is just the stuff! keep up the good work K

Being a typically benevolent and gentle person, this is the sort of sound I tend to gravitate toward, lol.

But yeah, there is nothing wrong with a little variety every now and then!

Sorry to hear about the hangover! I stopped drinking altogether about 2 years ago but I remember how horrible they can be, lol.

Thanks a bunch for the review, I'll make sure to repay you real soon, I'm getting really behind!

Now, this I like! Great groovy synth work! Wonderful mixing on all these sweet sounds! Good flow to the drums! I can understand your choice of titles. Great work on this one! Faved for sure!

Thanks a bunch!

The "less is more" approach did this one justice, unlike some of my other mixing atrocities, lol.

I'll come by and listen to what you've been up to real soon!

Thanks! I had quite a rough time trying to tame the lead synth on this one. (step sequencers are such a pain, lol.)

I'll probably be updating this one soon, I just feel like I could do so much more with it, but I'm pretty pleased with it already!

I'll get you back tomorrow I promise, but it's bedtime for now, lol.

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.

Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.

Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.

Description : Far out mid-tempo fat beat deep chillout grooves with Eastern/Arabic and slightly menacing vibes, huge delayed synth bass and a great palette of psychedelic layered and intricate sounds (mostly synths) and a stirring, epic feel. Even has guitar solo section reminiscent of some 80s power rock which is then followed by a brief synth harp solo. I began making it straight after staying round the flat of the flute player from the legendary Ozric Tentacles - easily the greatest ever space rock band. I made this in about 2001 and still think it might be my best track (and it's nice and short, for a change). My production skills were much weaker in those days (no EQ, compression or mastering used here) but, somehow, this one turned out pretty much just right. Feel free to disagree. Now sit back and get ready to trip extremely far out. If you manage to return, let me know how that trip was...
