Description : I had 30 minutes spare between lessons this morning, so rather than twiddle my thumbs I decided to record something. This is what came out of that session. I placed a capo on the 9th fret of my acoustic, found a sequence and recorded it in one take, then picked up the soprano sax, and realizing I was in the key of F#major set about a melody pronto. I started to record after a run through and felt I should keep the first take after listening back. It pretty much captures what was in my head. Recorded using line 6 tone port and Ableton live. Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
