Description : ok so folks this is my entry into Odotzed's Grime instrumental comp..
On this one I kinda was in a rush because I'm on my hols for a week with the Family and I'm gonna be miles and miles from my beloved computer... ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
so if I hadn't got it in today I would have missed the deadline.,... so anyway fingers crossed...
this track I made in Ableton 8 with the help of a great bass Vst that I got free with my computer mag called alpha I think and some great bass samples I found not sure where they came from... I wanna say loopermasters but I'm not definite
the drum track I based on a sort of southern hip hop style but the bass is all about the UK....and I let it do all the talking
I encoded it to mp3 in audacity....
as always comments welcome

everybody seemed to like my UK Drill so, typical dimestop my first attempt at UKGrime
lyric sheet is up too.
if you dont get the Ronaldo skit
even though he's super famous, he wants all the attention and stands on tip toes for photos
dimestop on the other hand would just stand in front of everyone :))
And yes the real photo of my profile caricature pic won a world photography award for the photographer. most shared photo

I love that beater on the kick.. I wish it was actually hitting me in the head.
I hope you don't mind if I reinterperate some of my thoughts just listening on my bustadass headphones?
On the kick and timpani, I kinda wanted perhaps a little more clarification on velocity?.. Because it sounded like the sample was played at the same aggressive pace entire track, where as I felt you could have done some AWESOME and kinda built to the epic synth crescendo.
Bravo on the Synth btw.. I love your taste everything bass/synth.
Breakdown/Bridge was chilling.. Gave me chills. I danced in my chair from 3:15 on.
Sick.

Just give them timpanis some more reverb or velocity dynamically?
The beat definitely did the talking for me! Had my head bobbin up n down like a crazy person! The bass is mental! I really like what you've done with it (and it's inspiring me to keep on working and experimenting!). The piano was a nice surprise and a good background for the vocal drop!
