Description : some pretty minimal but funky piece of music with a very strong bassline (at least I feel it this way) and only two synth lines ... on top of it you hear a poem by Effluence (a million thx for your wonderful voice!!!) ... drums from sony 8packs and from betamonkey ... synths and bass, composition and arrangement by me ... and bad news for my regular listeners: NO guitar from me this time ... I hope you enjoy this sweet and hypnotic track ... peace, rei4real

Very groovy and enjoyable spoken word here! I totally enjoyed listening, and the music seemed to support the words very well. Would love to see you post more stuff here on LM! Excellent track! Fave!
Rei, you blow me away. You've surprised me yet again and I like it. That's what great artists do – give something unexpected, still excellently performed. Now where's that fav button?

Strong drums and bass ... very good. Synths not interfere with the voice, but it helps to create a sexy environment. All with high quality and creativity. Do not know all your work, but I heard many tracks, and yes, very eclectic. The end result is always very good. Guitar? hehehe ... Next time do not forget it ..!!! One more thing .. It is short .. great job ..!!! / VlaRB
What can I say, except everything you touch turns to gold. Well arranged, everything is well pieced together imo. I admire your diversity, something that is rarely heard among many artist, and unlike many you have a vast ocean of imagination, manifesting in to beautiful creation of music. Oh, kick a** bass line BTW, it sounds fat as hell. Thank you for this wonderful share Rei.
No Guitar?...hehe, I can dig it....no one said you have to be chained to your axe..(though I bet you sleep with it occasionally!)....I'm detecting a signature Rei keyboard style though...and a throughly throbtastic bass line!...Very cool big sound and I love Effluence's vocals(super presence)......You got that post Thomas Dolby EuroFunkDiscofrankenspurter sound going on man! lol......I dig it mucho mowcho...cheers Dave
ThomasDolbyEuroFunkDiscofrankespurter sound ... awesome ... for me that's the word of the year!!!
and how can you know that thing with the guitar? that's a secret ... ;-)
maybe you're right with with the keyboard style, thinking about it I listened to some other tracks of me, and I really found similar forms in my playing ... interesting ... I wasn't aware of it ... but that's just me I guess, I never thought "I want to sound like ....", I always just played sounds (on both, guitar and keys) and looked if the sound is telling me something, if there was a response, I wrote a song ... that's the whole secret ... haha
No guitar?? Say it aint so Rei...for the love of god man!!!
Just kidding;)
I like the funky feel...the bass sets the pace and those drum hits are consistent with the Funkness.I love the subtle sounds that cover the background with the synth and of course the voice is perfect.
I was telling Elaine in a review about how playful I hear Funk, well obviously that is very emphasized here by the synth in the back however the bass takes it on a darker side and sets the groove and kinda makes you move.
Really like the arrangement, maybe a change in the drums would have made a bit of difference on that synth solo, something a bit more aggressive and dirty.
Takes my mind to same track I kept hearing on the radio but I can't remember the exact title.....
hey ... thx Mahloo!!!
maybe you're right about the solo part, and I'm not sure if the sound for the solo could be a better one ...
but thx a lot for taking the time to listen!!!
well appreciated ...

Description : Spoken Word with Rhythm. It's a song about dedication and being there for the one you love. People can easily say what they are going to do but not really mean any of the words. I learned a hard lesson in that today.
Description : I was writing another type of track and this "Spoken Word" I ran across kinda hi-jacked the track. At least I'll have the Genre right this time.
