Description : Here is my first finished song. I hope you enjoy it!
I was planning on putting lyrics to it but quickly realized that singing isn't as easy as I had expected. It is somewhat of a metal song with a dance beat. I would appreciate any constructive criticism or opinions that you guys are willing to offer on it. Special thanks to Bilbozo and Rei4real for the guitar loops I used in it.

Thanks a lot peppermint. I am glad you liked it. It is a clear case of beginner's luck I think, this was my first track I finished and posted and has always been the one people seem to like the most.
One this site you find some amazing talent. Yours is definitely included in that description. I enjoyed this track from beginning to end. This track took me to that place I go when I listen to music. Thankx for the ride.
If this is your first song I'd love to hear your next ten...And hopefully I will ... Talent for detail is evident ... I don't feel I am at a talent level where I can critique anyone about anything ...
But if this track were mine ... I wouldn't change what you have but, I would add a hit and/or a 4 bar roll here and there to stretch it the track out
Thanks very much for the review Bmack. I think that is good advice and I agree. I do need to work on changing up drums a little, adding rolls and such.
Nice song, it has an evil sort of touch, good sound and loops. Out of 10, I'd give it an 8. Also--- did you make the majority of the loops? Because they sound awesome.
Either way, it's about a hundred times better than my first song (and only, so far).
Thanks Zalg. I appreciate such a high rating on your scale. I pretty much expected my first posted song to be a humbling learning experience for me, so I am so glad people actually even like it. Yes, other then the 2 guitar loops from here that I used, I composed the rest.
Great sense of structure, great mix, too. The ONLY thing I'd do differently would be to bring the bass up a bit in the mix, and play lower notes (if that's an option to you).
I am glad you said that about the bass, and I totaly agree. As I have been trying to teach myself to make decent sounding music, I would create a short sample and record it to CD and see how it sounded on a couple different stereos. It always seemed the bass was just overwhelming so I knew I should lower it below what I thought it should sound like, but in the end I realize that I have over compensated. Thank you for saying so, because I know I am not the only one that hears that now.
awesome, flawless, powerful ...
I love this track!!!
and I like the way you chopped my loop ... cool work ...
thx a lot for doing this!!
like slap said: great production ...
and like esh said: nothing to change ...
and I say: give us more of that ...

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!
Description : Just send me the link where you use that, please
Anyway, I'm looking for artists, especially doing melodic techno, deep house etc... to work in my music label called Chick Records

Description : Here is my 2nd finished song. After you guys gave me such nice comments on my first I was anxious to get another one done. This is a fairly short song. It has kind of a modern horror movie soundtrack sound to it I think. I wasn't sure what genre to label it, so I will just call it weird, because you probably will too, haha. I composed the whole thing, all the instruments. A couple of the instruments are made from sounds I recorded myself. For instance the long spooky sounding high pitched whine was originally me running my finger around a wine glass. I used Digital Orchestrator Pro, Cool Edit Pro, and FL Studio 8 (demo version). I hope you enjoy it!
Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
I love this piece of music, reminds me of an action movie scenario.
You given me some ideas now..
Awesome....
