Description : The cover I posted before, but since taken off, had a karaoke track. Richie was gracious and talented enough to produce this wonderful track so the muzic is all him. Enjoy.
Well no you haven't. Carole King wrote it for Aretha with Gerry Goffin in around 1967/68. Carole King put it out on her Album Tapestry in around 1971/72 I think. So Aretha recorded it first!!
As much as I love Aretha's version of this song, I used to prefer Carole King's as she wrote it, but now I prefer yours. I think everyone below has said this eloquently enough and I'm sure you already know what I think about your voice. I also know that this family of ours would be an emptier place without you in it.
Well, Patricia and Richie....I have never listened to music by either one of you that hasn`t made me go Wow...and when you do these collabs together its just like adding more icing to the perpetual cake..Tha vocals & harmonies and just top notch pro...and what I particularly like about the music it how it supports the vocal/song so perfectly...embellishing it and carrying it along without imposing...I likely sound like I`m gishing a bit...well, I guess maybe I am...Its just so cool to find music done so well...great stuff you two....Ed
You know when I was a young guy I used to look down my nose at covers,I figured if you could play a cover you could also do something original instead...Damn I'm glad I grew up!..technically there's the added advantage of being able to judge the calibre of the interpretation against the original as well but within two bars I'd forgotten about Aretha, well not really I have too much respect for her to do that but it's true nonetheless.........Is this an audio dream I've awoken in or what?..damned if Richie hasn't nailed that Detroit sound but with a little more ooomph!..this guy is a serious skill merchant if ever I've heard one...The singing is so clear,it's becoming plain to me that it's a spiritual exercise with you Patricia...I particularly love the harmonising and the way you enunciate your words, the quality is outstanding and it's never overdone or forced like so many young artist do these days.....I've totally enjoyed this whole piece on many different levels and I can tell your audio recording chops are on the rise exponentially...you guys are fantastic together!...cheers Dave :)
It's as if Aretha Franklin was inside my lap top. I'm glad she's not though because i wouldn't have a clue how to get her out and it would be quite freaky.
This is quality Patricia, Absolute quality and i don't think any more needs to be said than that.
Bravo!!
Thank you for stopping by Free. I've been to your shop a couple times, but I don't understand house, and certainly not DnB, or techno, breakbeat...so I can't leave constructive comments. But I appreciate your comments :-) And your humor.

Thanks.
While you can sing anything and make it sound great, RnB is absolutely in your "wheel house."
Richie is so good.......
I really think you two should hit the road and I'll be happy to drive your bus. Maybe even sit in for a song or two, hahaha.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful (ouch, that sounded like Lawrence Welk).
Bear
I'll be more than happy to add him to my "road trip team", kicking and screaming if need be, haha. And you're already on the list!
Thanks much Mr. [ahem] I mean, Grandpa Bear :-) :-)
