Description : Dan contacted me about colaberating on Four gray walls or Standing at the end of the world. He sent me this music. for Standing. I thought four fit better. but after recording it. I realized the car effects weren't right for it. So I wrote Drive. Sent it to him and he tweaked his part and here it is. He has posted it in parts unknown. I did this singing and also spoken. Went with spoken. It's a pretty dark piece. I love the music and effects he used.
Getting around to catch up on reviewing some tunes here for reviewing mine.
I like this song a lot. Has a good feel to it.
I'd say the voice is a little too bassy as it is a little hard to hear it clearly. Other than my opinion on that, it is a very nice song and well put together.
The car sounds came out very good. The crash at the end is sobering!
I like it...great way of building a scene with music and words alone. I would have liked a possible reverb effect on the vocals a bit maybe, but otherwise, its wicked yo. Great job
i heard the original 4 gray walls pella not so long ago, and the first second i heard the voice i was like 'sickkkk' love the voice and tone of it, awesome chill music.
i have this picture in my head of a guy, in a car, window down, with his elbow leaning on the window, bopping his head and singing the tune. HAHAHHA
sweet vibes mate!
PS: just curious where you got that intro sample from, of the guy getting into the car. because i heard something quite similar on a Stanton warriors tune, a bit different, but similar! both gives the tune a great mood :)
Hey man...this is way cool.......Songs that encapsulate experiences we all have are always bound to succeed...this ones great I get the been there done that vibe....plus I love your voice...it's a great instrument!.....sorry for being late listening to this sometimes the expanding Looperverse overwhelms me...cheers planet :)
It's hard to keep up. I wrote the song to match the music Ruben sent me. While life is good now there was many years of misery and despair in my past. I just tap into it once in a while figureing some people can relate to it.
My friends don't understand how I love Jazz and Funkadelic (the original) at the say time. This song simplifies why. It has that same feel. I was blown away with this for personal musical reasons. Thanks man, Can I have another?
I don't see how someone could not love jazz and funkadelic together. We must be about the same age. Your friends must be jazz purists. Thanks for the review.

Thanks a lot. Dan did all the music and FX. I just listened over and over till the words came. I really enjoyed doing this one. Who knows I may be the next william Shatner of music. LOL
Do this all funky because for some odd reason the Wimpy player kept lockin up on me or not playin once the track was loaded. So I downloaded and am listening to it now on WMP.
I let this play in the background as I did a few things and now I wanna ask- Have you ever seen the movie Lost Highway by David Lynch? That's what alotta this reminded me of. Seein someone drive down an empty 2 laned southwestern freeway at night. Surrounded by pitch black and the only illumination coming from the headlights and the scant few stars in the sky. Cool atmos man. Lates!
brilliant track, smooth guitars and very chill.....
when i´d listened to the end i thought ....
oh my god, what a cinematic tragedy and i hope he did not crash his brand new Mercedes Benz....hope you´re still alive...
take good care,PC
It's a 76 Dodge challenger with a 6 pack.LOL I think muscle car. Hey but it could be a mercedes. And it's totalled.Dan, ADD188, did a great job with the music. When he sent it to me I had to write something new for it. I had a lot of fun doing this one. Thanks for listening and I'm glad you liked it. I hope do do some more stuff like that.
Never any hurry. Glad to hear it though. Looking forward to hearing it. Your better half has a great voice. And you did some great music to show it off.

Emotive, and strong. Love the spoken lyrics, another great track Blair :) - If I could find the charger for my old phone, id put up all the accapellas i used to make on the bus :P
Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

This is my first attempt at creating a virtual environment to tell a story and convey emotion. Hope you enjoy! Comments are welcome!
Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : ambient, guess i was trying to blur the lines between soundscape and music or something like that. will still edit here and there. put it on, lie back and sift. bass loop from LM's megapaul - darktimes and danwilson - drug induced crush
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
Description : Ambient, Chill Out, Cinematic .... I´m not sure ... Take your headphones. Close your eyes. Start the engines and have a ride into the unknown. A spacy little trip from somewhere into anywhere outside. - U_P_D_A_T_E - I made a video to this track. So you can enjoy now the flight with open eys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON4u0bRZJ4k

The words are excellent. Especially the "spinning out of control" parts. Great use of double entendre throughout the piece if you ask me.
