Woah, not sure why but this is like the last thing I expected to hear when clicking on this. Whatta nice surprise though. I really like the vocals on here, it goes very well with the beat, in a very different way. It's fresh sounding, and could easily be in some hip commercial in my opinion.
lol, well, sometimes the last thing you expect can be a good thing...
im glad you liked what you heard. i, too, get a very chic, commercial vibe off it.
cheers for the listen and review!

i know a lot of things about a lot of things
;)
Tracks good bro.. sub kick is WAY WAYYYYYYYYY to loud, it needs eq'ing to loose some of its harmonics and side chaining to let the main kick through.
Best way to think of frequencies is like a row of cars in traffic, basically if somethings already there you need to, wait for it to move, move it with side chaining or, it cant be there.
I use Fabfilter Pro-q because it has a built in spectrum analyzer which is awesome for seeing whats happening to the frequencys and there volume..
thanks for the listen and review, spudsy...much appreciated.
i dont eq works in progress...there is a lot more that needs to be done with this than just bringing the bass down. i only eq songs that are well received lol as odd as that may be. im a good producer...but im a lazy engineer and its quite laborious for me, so i wait to see if people actually like the demo enough to put in the extra work.
looks like it might be time to polish this one up.
cheers!
cool piano synth good buzzing sub but it drowns out the kick sort out some eq make the sub lower than the kick and bring the kicks frequncy up a little or just make it louder :) cool use of vocals i like the baking synths they really keep the song flowing
Thanking you, KooL...glad you liked what you heard.
this one is getting a good enough response now that i will go back and do post production mixing on it.
cheers for the listen and review!
i had to play this track twice b4 i started to review i was totally taken for surprise that you were so fortunate to find someone as talented as mr. ricky and mr. ricky was fortunate enough to find someone as talented as you!!! a match truly made in heaven!! i know that i will be hearing big things from you guys!! TC!!!
Ah, One of my favourite genres and i'm not dissapointed. I'm thinking Norman Cook with a little bit of Prodigy and some flavours of Gnarls Barkley. Not a bad mash up if i may say so myself.
If i may make one suggestion then perhaps the bass could come down a notch or two just to enhance the vocal a little more.
A minor complaint really. You've got skills lady!
Bravo!
your suggestions are spot on..and me saying i did the "post" work is a bit misleading. this track is part of my demo project, so i havent done post on any of them. no mixing or mastering, just recording and uploading, as im only using them as a blueprint of sorts...to get a feel for the layout of the song, as well as whether or not people dig it enough for me to record and mix a proper version of the track. as previously stated...im a lazy bird...
i love that youre feelin' my work. your listens and reviews are beyond appreciated. thanks for your continued support, and if the monkey that sits on my shoulder and fores me to write 24/7 ever gives me a break, i promise i will get back over to your page and listen/review more of your tracks.
Cheers!
Hey there Miss English titled person who spends time in desert springs ;).....When I'm listening to this I'm getting this 'Boutique' type vibe..no not as in a hair salon,(maybe a dress shop)lol..but as in a specialized, exclusive and probably way expensive establishment or product....I guess what I'm saying is it's got a sophisticated air about it...not for the riff raff! haha....it's a cool ride made even smoother with Ricky's modelesque vocals, definitely one for the "in" set....cheers Planet :)
awesome and v subversive - i'm hearing a great comment on self-reflective virtual reality - much respect, Ms Duke and Ricky - and ah them pounding bass keys!!
Description : I HOPE YOU ARE NOT TO LAZY TO READ THIS xD
All started with a Future Bass Drum with Reverb at 140 BPM. It sound like Dubstep and then all go fast. A very Deep Synth Flute with Reverb as Bass. Hig Synth for the Melody. High Flute with Reverb for other. And High Wobbling Synth with stereo Phaser. Many Crazy Snares and lite Stick Hits as Percussion with Reverb. End a Pad with the same Stereo Phaser effect. Yeah thats it. I work 4 Hours at this Track. Sounds Like Future Bass or Dubstep with a lite Happy EDM touch. Please leave some Feedback. Which genre is this? Whats good , Whats Bad? You know what I mean :D
Description : here it is a quickly done mix for this demo//mash up electro clash sort of // with breakbeat // crunchy soundz and FX.
Now this track needs collaborationS !
like a punchy vox and some keyboard skills.
I may add some funky guitar at the very end ??
If some space still avaible in the mix...

This track is a heavily sampled break beat melange featuring Russian vocalist Doctyabrev and excerpts of speeches in languages of the other three countries including Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Marina Silva of Brazil. There's a whiff of Maceo's "Cross the Tracks" in there too.
Much thanks to all the Looperman contributors including: Doctyabrev, fanto8bc, djnab, blueskies, buffalonugaluss, megapaul, and 7venth12. 100 bpm, key of E.
Description : Update: big intro atmosphere breakbeat with evolving break patterns. I took off one of the synths and it sounds cleaner now. Also continued the track with another bassline /witch now I think it's kinda slow. Or maybe not ?/ I will appreciate every comments & advices.
Description : The classic disco song of the 70's done from a man's perspective, in a mellow semi-accoustic chill version. Original artist, Gloria Gaynor did this song in 116 bpm, I am doing it in 94 bpm. If I'm granted permission to post the acapella on this site, I'd love to hear what you guys can do with it.

I see said the blind man
what is red has been lost
like what has been big has become small
a perfect cradle and an eye for an eye
it makes me king... Love
I've always been stealing it like Jack
time to give it back
just a polite spiral
from my fingertips and to the rose
