This is an excellent piece of music, as has already been made quite clear by others.
I haven't heard of you before on here so this is a nice surprise.
Bass is extremely cool and busy, with a great tone. Vocals are haunting and return just at the right time.
The subtle guitar might even be the nicest touch in this haunting, sensual, moody piece.
My only complaint is the percussive loop work. It's good and very effective but also feels too loud at times. Just mixing its level it in and out a bit more would help a lot.
yes.
yes, yes, yes!
i loooooooove this groove. THIS is the kind of stuff i dream about singing on. your bass is beyond naughty; it takes full command of this song and the listener. mixing is top notch.
instant fav...kudos!
Man...this is one perfect laid back piece of listening for this Wed night smmr...just one of those grooves that pulls you in & carries you along....really well done....Ed
More serious sounds!...this is quality buddy, love the bass, awesome touch with the vox, got a sense of mystery going on! sweet stuff bro...downloading!
Oh how GOOOOOOOD-ah this is? Umph umph umph! My my my! So exhilarating, and tantalizing, and [strangely] sensual (for me). I can hear this in so many things!
My gawwwd dungbeatl I feel so close to you right now LOLOLOL. Ahem...[composing myself again].
thanks so much patricia...time i came back a sifted your pellas, i could hear you on something like this too...that would be nice, working on more stuff like this...thanks for the listen and review!..dbl
nostalgic! love that comment, made me nostalgic too, but just for about 1992, haha....thanks much mariah...and...it was almost your acapella on this, but it was in a different key and the pitchshift wasnt sounding good..so, another time, another track we will 'work together'...thanks for the review and listen!...dbl
WOW i can see this for when a person gets lost and goes on a journey to see if anyone is alive or just to search this place that he came too also i can see this for a dark theme as well AMAZING work here i am DAM impressed and need to close my eyes to go dreaming now =D....zzzz
You are def coming into your own realm of musical existence. Your music lately has risen and is reaching new levels, keep it up. Did you go straight in with the bass, did you use any vst amp? I'm always trying to learn how people get their "sound" when it comes to guitars and basses.
Sure, I could hear this in a cinematic setting, to show a passage of time while someone does something like builds or creates something or tries to solve a mystery or crime. Nicely put together, the less is more approach is something I live by and works here.
Keep up the good work, always fun to hear your creations!
i recorded it directly into Live, but used 2 waves plugins: Znoise and MaxxBass on the fx chains as well as a free compressor plug called Thrillseeker which i find excellent...the upper octaves of course have a bunch of reverb and delays added as well, all native Live fx...thanks for the listen wayne and your fine words, much appreciated as always!....
Very compelling. Exotic and deep. I can feel the bass kick in my earphone pads, and the vocal at the end lifted the crown of my head. Astonishing sound.
astonishing! thankyou very much, adding that t my list of adjectives to read when feeling sucky! haha, thanks...i'll be around to hear what you have going...dbl
Definitely the best of yours that I have heard so far. Really liking the raw bass sound. Its stands out the perfect amount - well integrated! Thanks for sharing.
Very nice, the guitar is so smooth and the notes played are important,I've always said it's not the amount of guitar but the delicate use of fine notes that may only be a few but are the addition that makes all the difference to the song...and me.
thanks allen, that means so much coming from you...i'm starting to get somewhere i think, but i consider you a real musician, so, thanks...still have 'Through these Fields' of yours in my ipod, pops up regularly, thanks....dbl
thanks mahloo...on relisten im wondering if my levels on the lowest bassline and some eq separation might be in order?...never one to leave well enough alone, lol...thanks fo ryour fine review!
I heard a rumour going round that you'd made a great piece of tunage. It was true!
For some reason this piece has got me thinking vampires in the dessert like in that film "near dark"
Again i'm thinking to myself "spend more time on ableton" i see it's paying off dividends for your music.
Easily the best cinematic piece i've heard for quite some time.
Now you can kick back and reward yourself with a cold one!

thanks FR! big compliments i a m very thankful...been actually trying to pu tthe daw aside and work on bass for a while, noew the two are coming back together again...thanks fo rthe listen!
A song is only as good as its foundation, and this song has a great foundation!!! Bass line is absolutely stellar. Great vox and instrumentation, subtle and sublime, all following that wonderful bass line.

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!
Description : Just send me the link where you use that, please
Anyway, I'm looking for artists, especially doing melodic techno, deep house etc... to work in my music label called Chick Records

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
Description : NEVER STOP DREAMING!
Love what you do and do what you love.

Fantastic!
Allen.
The touch of vocals is just amazing and the groove inflicted by those drums is emphasized by the bass and the subtle nuances of ethnic spice going on!
This is going in my favs! This should really get some TV/Add plays!
