Description : I thought i'd re up this as i just found out the sad news that my friend Allen recently had a stroke
and as a result is unable to play anymore. I would encourage you all to go and check out his profile as he was one hell of a guitarist and i hope that the time comes when he is again. Here's the link: https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/400188
Hope you get well soon buddy!!!

If you have time take a listen and give FreeRadical some feedback.
I like the idea, though I do agree going back and fixing a few minor issues will make this already-great song sound even better. Keep up the good work, FreeRadical. I'm loving your music. Cheers!
I agree that the mixdown isn't the best. I had the dithering switched on when i converted it not realizing that dithering makes the track sound worse at the time. Took me ages to figure that one out but alas the file is gone so i can't work on it anymore. I only put the track back up as i was hoping peeps would go and check out Alans profile but thanks for stoping by and commenting.

This is a strange, ballsy mix of a few different genres.
Latin style piano, crashing breakbeats and loads of bitchin lead rock guitar work, with lots of little evil screams comin from that axe.
It's all pretty damn loud, hence the squished waveform, but maybe that's what you're going for. Still sounds like a pretty good mix.
1:44 breakdown I'd turn the lead widdling down there as it's interfering a bit with the backing variation. Not so much of a breakdown with that guitar still right upfront.
2:54 new busy synth bass is cool.
Around 3:57 guitar goes totally mental. Massive delay + high feedback level on it?
I think I would have preferred a few more guitar riffs rather than so much lead work but that's just my taste.
Mental track, shame about the stroke and here's to a full recovery! It he only partly recovers, maybe he'll just have to play a bit slower. So: 5,000 notes a second rather than 10,000.
Thanks for dropping in. This track was done before i realized that everything sounded better with the "dithering" switched off, which is why it's a bit harsh on the ears in places. I'd love to do it again as it was a fun track to make but alas the files are gone.
I posted it more for the sake of getting people to check out Alans stuff as he is far more talented than me.
Cheers for stopping by and commenting.

Yeah he is still about but he said one of his arms isn't working too well so he can't really play at the moment. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery.
As for the track, I like the idea but i didn't mix it down very well (it's a bit to trebble saturated) I'd love to do it again some time.
Cheers for dropping by and commenting.

wow....that is some smokin guitar playing by AllenV...amazing guitar chops definitely on display (If I could to borrow about 10% of them I`d consider myself dm good)....But then, the whole mix is just superbly done...I have to confess that D&B is not a frequent listening choice but now it looks like I best pay a bit more attention.....great work guys....Ed
Thanks Tumbleweed, It's not a typical piece of drum and bass in any sense really but that's what i like about it. If it hadn't been for Allen's participation it wouldn't have been anywhere near as good so all credit to our resident axe man for taking part and doing his thing.
Thanks for checking out this track.
FR
awesome track!!! My 9 yr old son thinks your great...awesome soloing by mr AllenV.. I hope i work with you guys one day,,,i'm not sure what happened to allen but i hope all is well and he can resume his guitar artistry soon ....big ups on this one.. Movie soundtrack perhaps?
Well i have to say that put a smile on my face this morning. I thought i was a bit long in the tooth to be "down with the kids" but an endorsement from your nine year old son and your daughter fills me with much encouragement and i say many thanks to all three of you.
To be honest it was Allen that did all the cool sounding bits so perhaps i should digress and pass the compliments on to him.
Thanks for reviewing this experimental piece of audio carnage.

Free my friend, yet again you show your multi-talented genius. This is great guitar work from Allen and you more then do it justice. DnB with a twist mate and I like it.
Ah VSS, How nice of you to stop by again.
This whole track was based around a series of loops that Pedro Casilass uploaded so really it wouldn't have happened without his origional idea. Just goes to show that a couple of loops can take you in directions you wouldn't find yourself.
Allen was the icing on the cake though.
Glad you could stop by and give it a listen.
FR
This is totally rockin! Allen's playing is to die for! I love how you used the acid style bass in this one! Those piano loops make for an awesome style of DnB! I think I remember this one from before, but I'm glad you re-upped it!
Thanks Spiv, You're right it is an older track but it's a collab i remain proud of and so far the only one i've done with musicians rather than singers. Hopefully it wont be the last though.
Glad you enjoyed the track again (I'll be reupping it again in a few days time lol)

Nice one man! For me it epitomizes everything that's great about this site. I never would have been able to do this if i hadn't found this site.
I'm glad people think the results are worth a listen.
Thanks for tuning in and leaving your thoughts.
FR
Very nicely done. When you combine the piano skills of Pedro and the fret work of Allen with your ability to arrange and produce, well you have a recipe for success. This is a wonderful display of Allen's amazing abilities. Wonderful effort and a great way to start my day.
Thanks Bear, This was great fun to do. I love having a bit of a mash up to see what happens. Sometimes it comes out bloody awful but every now and again it works. As hannibal smith says "I love it when a plan comes together"
I'm glad this got your day off to a good start.
Thanks for giving up some of your time to play this track.
FR.
Well you know Wayne, We can both do cool, but when plain ol cool aint enough, You need to hire......"The V Team"
I'm glad you enjoyed this bit of cobbled together audio mayhem collaboration.
It's always good to hear your opinions.

Allen is a force of nature - the most versatile, gifted, and giving samurai of the loops, and i bet that's true of all him in life.
This is a full-on and beauteous collab - AV brings out the best in everyone - and this is stellar, my friend - your mindbending setting kicks ass
Yeah, It turned out pretty unusual this one but in a good way. But your right, I could have just been tapping a saucepan with a wooden spoon in the background and Allen would still have sounded as good.
Thanks for tuning in.
FR
Nice one mate, He is bloody good at it aint he? That's the best thing about this site. Working with other musicians always makes for interesting results. We should have a go sometime. I like what you do.
FR
Thanks mate, I was tempted to post a link to this in your "this is why i love looperman" thread. I think it's a great example of what happens when you throw three different musicians with different styles together. I love going out of my comfort zone on a voyage of discovery and it wouldn't be possible without everyone in this community.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughts.

wow how in the world did he did tht o-o amazing im still trying to wrap my head around how the hell did he do this is O_o. its so good im at a lost for words ^.^. P.s Take a look at my new track bro its for You and the other people i said in the description its call Fated Battle.
Thanks AD, i just had an idea which came from some piano loops uploaded by "Pedro Casillas". I'm going to have to correct the track description and give him a mention as well because it was piano that formed the whole backbone of the tune. Then i just asked Allen if he fancied shredding a few licks for me and he obliged. So this is what happens when you take a latin pianist, a rock guitarist and a dance producer, then throw them all together.
I will be over to your profile in a moment and thanks for dropping in.

Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Welcome to the world of Kay-0s!
Please feel free to download from kayos2.bandcamp.com if you want to support our work. Many thanks, Oli&Kay
Description : About five years ago I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:
the inimitable blindwolf2; ambient bass loop - danke; arax; l-3436512-0214678; apollo; drmistersir; looperman-l-0291301-0226917; looperman-l-2972616-0231648; jakebur4; looperman-l-0337508-0047278; buffalonugalus; mmedia
Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
Description : Merry Christmas to everyone, and thanks for all your downloads. This song is from 2016 but is here in this christmas. Thanks to Raphael29 for this great loops. Have a nice day and enjoy!
