Description : Mix number 2, Added a little bass and compressed the track.
It might require one little bit of tweaking but essentially all the ingredients cooked niceley.
Big shout goes out to Shawn Lat for his vocal skills.

This is going down a treat right now after a couple of drinks! Great beat and bassline! The vocals you use work quite nicely with the track and good production as well.
Thanks, I wish i'd cranked the volume up on Shauns vocals as it's hard to hear whar=t he says. Aside from that i still quite like this one so thanks for leaving comments on my tracks from the forgotton archives.

No worries man, I've turned the downloads back on now if you wanted a copy. I just wanted to see how much difference it made with regards to how many reviews you get. "A lot" would seem to be the answer. I'm gonna turn them all back on now. Nobody likes a Scrooge now do they? lol

Ripper! It is good to visualise what you might be doing as far as automation and filter use is concerned and I like your style. Another quality track from FreeRad. Whether it is cut and paste or not, I always think it's the putting together of all the elements that is important and I certainly would be none the wiser if it wasn't mentioned that samples were used - it's all about the finished article and keeping listeners interested and you have not failed. Thank you for the listen FR and also the download. Keep flowing dude.
Thanks mate, Sorry for being a bit slack with the reply. I have no excuse apart from being a bit lazy.
Glad you enjoyed this track. I'm still pondering what to do with it to get it up to scratch but cheers for stopping by and leaving comments.

Well, now that I`ve been listening to some of your tracks I know where to check when I need a bit (a lot in my case) of genre education...If I had been listening to this in my band days (just after the last ice age) I would swear somebody had slipped the goods into my brew....but, you know what...I`m getting to like it....its partly your fault FreeRadical....really did enjoy the listen...so now I have to go apologize to my ol guitar....keep on man.....Ed
Thanks Ed, Sorry for the late reply. No excuses. I just got struck down with a serious case of lazyitus. (I'll never learn, It's only taken me two hours to catch up with my comments lol)
Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments as usual. I'm not quite done with this one yet but i'm struggling to think of what needs to be done to it. Hopefully some time away will help it click in.
Cheers again.

I like how the track swells in and that drop in pitch at the same time, then it's quite a rockin' tune if I may say so as a guitarist.
Oh,cool bonus siren at the end.
You know we could have carried the thread on a little longer about me but it's alright to share:)
Ha ha. You can bring back that thread any time you like mate. Anytime your feeling a bit off colour you just say the word and we'll get that thread up and running again in no time.
I'm glad you could home in on this track. I'm pretty pleased with how this ones come out.
FR (Don't know why i bother putting that. You know it isn't my name and hopefully so do i)
I like this one a lot. Catchy as hell chord progression using cool synths. The "air" around it makes it lean toward Electro and I like that. Don't know if it is, but much of it sounds like some cool filters being used. Good work put in this one man.
Keep Doin It! J.P.
Thanks mate, You're right. There's a lot of filters i used on this. I love LFO's and filters. They seem to add more edge. I'm just gave the bass a little bost so hopefully it sounds more full than before.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out this tune. Your comments are appreciated.

Bond here...James bond....lol hey man i'm really becoming a fan of this genre by listening to your stuff. Mixes are always superb... i know cut and paste is a drag especially if you take a vocal and its supposed to be one bpm and you find out it's not right?. You truly have a sound all your own. Free you are a beast!!!!
Thanks mate, Sorry for the late reply. I have no excuses other than i'm a great big lump of lazy lard sometimes. Then i pay for it when i see i have loads of people i've not replied to for ages and have to spend a couple of hours catching up. At least i know i'll be in for a treat when i hoon on over to your page.
Glad you enjoyed this track. I'd like to do more work with patricas vocals but i struggle as she likes to sing in styles i'm not very familiar with. I guess practice is what it's all about. Thanks for dropping by and checking out this tune.

Sorry for the late reply, No excuses. I'm just lazy and have to be in the right mood. One day i might learn that doing things as they happen actually makes life easier but until then......well you know?
Anyway, thanks for dropping in and leaving comments on this track my feline friend.

Another class piece of work ? You're just showing off now Free aintcha ? LOL. Good work yet again my friend. Boost that bass a touch and this will rock mate. Good use of the vocal, was this one of your painstaking snip jobs ? If so you have proved that diligence pays off. Just as a thought have you pondered a big ole braek down in the middle just so as you can bring it all up again ? Should you go back and tweak I look forward to hearing the end version. I like it FR.
Thanks mate, Yes this is indeed a cut paste, cut cut, paste job on the vocals. He recorded the pella at 90bpm so it was pretty painful at times and there's still one or two bit's that need a little nudge into the right place. But it's as near as dammit so i thought i'd put it up. The bass i can't actually hear properly because i'm not listening at very high level most of the time (moany neighbours) I normally just drop it a bit on the parametric because if you don't, There's always bound to be too much when you turn it up. Still it's an easy fix i suppose.
Anyway, I'm waffling so i'll stop now and just say thanks for listening. Your opinion is always appreciated.

Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Welcome to the world of Kay-0s!

Description : About five years ago I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:
the inimitable blindwolf2; ambient bass loop - danke; arax; l-3436512-0214678; apollo; drmistersir; looperman-l-0291301-0226917; looperman-l-2972616-0231648; jakebur4; looperman-l-0337508-0047278; buffalonugalus; mmedia
Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
