Well first, u have 2 find a style and concept and stick 2 it. Try 2 create ur own style. Its okay 2 use others style but add ur twist 2 it. Second, try getting feedback from others. Advice will get u so far in music bcuz it'll help u improve and get better at wut ur trying to accomplish! Wen it comes to mixing, tweak and edit each sound or instrument singly. Your monitors is what makes a difference is your quality so make sure u have good monitors. ANd never work on 1 song or track 2 long bcuz u can easily lose interest in the song. So jus save it and come back to the track later. Give ur ears a rest. You'll b suprised on how many mistakes u can find after taking a break from that particular track. this is wat makes u better!
