Hey, really creative jammin tune here! I like the autheniticity of the performances within. Was looking on your page for something newer, but I'm assuming you are deep in your bass build at the moment... I know how that goes. Glad I'm hearing this one though, as it's quite fun yet a bit sad sounding... admittedly sounding a bit vintage at this point too...heh. You are a very good performer and composer! Respect my friend!

G'day Dave

Mate another impressive piece from you, sounding little what the humps would do, maybe you 2 need to collab, would be a brilliant result, great guitar Dave, nice beat and percussion, flows along just nicely, something I have come to expect is the clarity in your works and this one is very good also, mate like the seagulls in the back ground, giving it that summer time feel to the piece, another fav coming along here, Dave thanks for sharing here on the loop, always a great listen...Peace matey...Estefano...

hey dave...

i had heard this song months ago, and... i liked it...
but bass was soo powerful.

and the compression was ... almost too sharp.. post edit**NOT TOO sharp.. but less threshold

and. this is a song of joy. something that i naturally don't feel aligned with often. but i really do LOVE the changing keys and pace.

i ... don't want you to take this ... baddly.. but let the music speak? let it have a moment DURING your playing to draw emotion?.

i still love it!

edit
Try and speak with your mouth, a statement with you bass in your hands, and record a solo style thing there??? ... for me?

Hey Abe...I hear you man...that's one of the best reviews I've ever received..I think a lot of what your talking about is the true actual fundamentals of good music..clearly when I created this piece I had a vision of what I wanted but in the application of it...it fell down in a few critical areas..I put it down to at that stage not being totally up to speed with my recording software and techniques...so rather than delivering a piece that breathes..it got cobbled together..I think I've reached the stage now where I'm a lot more aware of this...and there's more light and shade in my work....and please whenever you think I might take something badly..go in even harder!..I'm totally aware that music is a learning process..man sometimes I feel like I'm still on the first page!...cheers buddy..Dave :)

Reminded me of a birthday card my Grandma sent me this year. Six boats tied to their moor stakes. Really nice, and the title is really fitting to the music.

Since it's been playing I've been taken to a dock in late spring (end of April) in the early afternoon. Looking out over the water with the sun to my back, the sky smeared with clouds covering a third of the darker part of the sky, with a few ships here and there in the U-shaped bay. The smell of sea air, faded tar, and food fill the nostrils. As handfuls of people, sprinkled here and there walk about (some are families, others are couple, others are small groups of friends), all with their own destinations. Right in front and a little to the right there is a medium sized fishing boat that's being cleaned off and tied down, as a father & son (with friend) crew tries to go home for the day. Thanks for the awesome vision mate. Will def sav/fav. Later on!

Great work. I was trying to figure out why this song reminded me of a beach. When i finally came out of the daydream i drifted into i realized it was the birds. Nice touch; they are subtle yet very efficient.

Hi Planet,
I liked this song here. A very relaxing tune. The guitar was clear sounding and the Bass complimented it nicely. Good fadeout at the end. Nice playing!

This tracks seems a "loaded" track, almost as if theres too much going on, but its actually a full track. Got a lot of omph to it(guitar related). Got a nice vibe to it, most of the song i could almost predict what notes are coming next. Nice composure and a lot of heart put into it.
Nice stuff man.
God Bless

the choice of pentatonic scales in major key gives this track a lot of positive vibrations from the beginning till the end......this could be one of Bob Dylan´s early compositions but it also has bit of Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young flavor although you did not use any vocals or lyrics.......reminds me of the early 70s and the legendary woodstock events when soldiers came back from war in Vietnam like it was in the Forrest Gump movie.....one of my always favs, cheers rob

Great song. Love the guitar and Bass too. I want to play with this. I'll get with you if I come up with anything. The part I'm picking up to be the chorus would go something like. I'm coming home, I'm coming home.Been gone to long, I'm coming home.
Even without vocals this track can stand on it's own. My type of music.

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
