Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.
The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.
Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.
Hope you like it.

Im helping make some youtube videos for a hunting/cooking web series and I used this song in a couple of the videos. I saw in a couple of comments that you were ok with people using the song but I just wanted to double check. I'd give you full credit and I'd be happy to share the video.
Hi there CJ,
Thanks for wanting to use this song I put together with the help of loops I bought some time ago. You can use it for your purposes you described. I haven't made any new songs in quite awhile, but hope to get back to doing so in a few months.

I thought I answered this comment back then when you sent it to me. If not, then the answer is 'yes' you can use the tune...just give me credit is all. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hey Randy another great track I always enjoy your songs and the sound quality is always so professional. I work hard to get my sound like this but I always fall short so keep up the good work. I actually just uploaded my second country song yesterday called "A Little Better Than That" I have always loved country been listening for years just now finally started writing and recording tracks that sound more country so listening to your stuff is a good inspiration. Thanks for sharing the track.
Thanks so much for your comments here. I commented on your latest country song as well. As far as my sound quality, it is a matter of what instruments you use and their volume/place in the overall mix. Basically mixing so they each have a say and fit in without overpowering another.
I always have another person listen to my songs when they are finished so as to have another pair of good ears listen to them and make comments as to what may need 'fixing', if anything before I post them.
That is usually the fellow that 'Masters' my songs at his recording studio. He usually doesn't have to do much with my songs, but he makes them 'radio ready' as far as volume and any tweaking as far as getting rid of any booming Bass, and maybe add in some high's with the tools he uses.
Then he compresses the overall song so the volume is steady throughout and radio ready, or up to the Red Book code for all songs.
Other than that, using more than one rhythm guitar is a good idea, such as an Acoustic guitar, and in this case, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound that adds to the overall feel. Then the lead on top of that.
Many songs in country music also use a Baritone guitar to get that deep low sound. Basically a guitar tuned an octave lower with heavier strings. I didn't use one here tho.
So basically to get a good sound, make sure each instrument you play or add into your mix, is clear and cuts thru when needed. The fiddle in my song was basically all background.
Anyways, I am glad you enjoyed it and I hope my comments here help some.
After listening to this song I'm heading straight to NASHVILLE! Great to see you back on the loop!! That is some mean picking and I luv that touch of fiddle!! FAVED Fila
Been a long time since we have heard from each other. I am still on Lafango, but doesn't seem to be much action there.
Am glad you liked my latest country tune. Took me near 3 months to get all the parts down. The fiddle was a loop and drums as well.
The lead part wasn't done in all one fell swoop. I had to play some and add to the track and then some more. So a bit of cutting and pasting in Pro Tools to make it sound seamless. Lol
Anyway's, I will check out and see what you have up.
This is so good and it's simply wonderful to hear country guitar work like this. Great playing and what a super sound you have too. Everything excellently done. Great track, love it.
Thank you for commenting on my new tune. I think this is one of best ones to date as far as country. Will get over to your page, and pages of others here...to give a review back.
Thanks for commenting on my new song. Took me 3 months to put it together. I like this playing style the best, and it takes a lot of practice believe me.

Description : It was a long winter here, at Dartmoor. 4 Month of continued rain and damp. And suddenly (Drummroll), the sun came back. That did remind me of a collaboration with Silver Bella and her Acapella "Keep the Faith" from last year. A positive song which could have the potential to make a difference to the day. Thanks SB :-)
