Very well done.
Your voice suits the song perfectly. The music business can be real rough and that is why I chose to never go pro. This song was very well written and performed. Fav'd.
Mark.

Thank you Mark for taking the time to listen. You are right about being a rough buisness and thats why i sing for my personal enjoyment . If someone feels or relates to something i have done thats a bonus for me. Thank you for the Fav'd.

Hi there!! Just amazing.. This is one of the best I have heard here on Looperman.. I write music and are at the moment using alot from Patricia Edwards acapellas. I'm not a pro like Daniel Lombardi, but I get really nice comments on my music here on Looperman. You can find a sample of my music here:
https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/151446
So if you like to collab with me I would be honored.

This is quite excellent, Brandon. It's a bit of a Latin/jazz style. You had mentioned possibly wanting to work with other musicians. I collaborate with a excellent composer and musician from Italy. I play drums and percussion and do most of the mixing and final arranging. You can hear some of our stuff at: https://www.looperman.com/users/tracks/1009617. If you would like to work with us, you can reach me at: bladesplus@cox.net. We'd love to have a fine lady singer like yourself working with us.

Cheers,
Scott

With that smooth & expressive vocal delivery style I wouldn`t think you would be lacking in collab opportunities BM...really well done, and being just an instrumentalist myself I must say you have some very talented accompaniment in this one...and Daniel obviously has some extra big talent on that guitar....A big well done to both of you...I often have more than a few backing music compositions (usually done with the intention of adding some guitar melody) in my folders if you should need a mix or two for a rainy day just let me know.....Most of my tunes of late have been of the mellow variety but likely have 1 or 2 R&B type tunes unfinished right now if that style appeals to you....Anyway...enjoyed this one....keep on.....Ed

I was led to this, your one upload, because I saw you'd played my track Tiny Little Pieces. I agree with the other comments. You have a very good tone to your voice - a warm, inviting sound.

And it's a well-constructed, easy, slow groove, shaking bit of smooth jazz with good playing and a very suitable solo to round (and finish) things off.

You could do lots more like this so hope you have someone to regularly work with.

Hello and thank you for the comment. Unfortunately I do not have someone to work with, at least not in the jazz genre.

What a huge compliment that is for me since the composer is a professional musician who has toured with Brad Paisley, John Michael Montgomery, and many many others. Thank you so much for your very kind words. I think I will head over to your page. Have a wonderful day.

Hello Michelle ....

You have an exceptional voice, and I'm sorry to find you so late here .... This jazz interpretation and its accompaniment are very well done.
I have great respect for the voices that accompany me in my musical adventures .... in another style, another area, but if you feel like it ....
Listen to some of my arrangements, and if you are interested, we can consider collaboration .... For fun, of course.
Thank you for sharing, of this instant ....

First off Jazz is not my thing, but you can't ignore talent whatever the genre. This is a really nice laid back track, full of the hall marks of a great Jazz tune. You have a really great voice and I for one hope to hear more of it.

Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...

Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.

Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
