NICE!!! Sort of has a vintage prog vibe to it. Love the toy piano and great lead guitar. Groovy ending!

There's always some good listening coming from your camp!

Cheers,
Scott

Very good song here. Synths are too loudly mixed for the track imo they push out the vocals and the drums. The performances are great and the arrangement is solid! Agree that this is a good collab combination, would like to hear an album of this band/duo.

Now, here's some fuckin music! You do a much better job than I do with getting a whole song feel into your stuff. Vocals are still better than anything I've done. Kudos to your testicular fortitude. I've added you to the "Respect" List.

Interesting toy piano intro, like SN, I wasn't sure what to expect and at the end it really sounds cool. As I listen the song has some great changes and dynamics from the heavy guitars to the synth. Is there a little tremelo on the vox in certain spots? That was cool. The singer gave a pretty darn good performance and effort. Well done to both of you.

Hahhh...what a song Bear...hyper melodies and fantastic piece of guitar playing...original on it's own, those synth tones are unusual but work well...superb number...

Best, Danke

Well, this is some unusual stuff. No way of knowing what it will be from that intro.

Quite possibly a nursery rhyme or lullaby, if you know what I mean.

Then it starts to turn more into rock music as that drum kit enters. But the fizzing synth dominates so that's a it different.

Pull back the drums and get a bit more back into the lullaby as the vocals start. Nice acoustic guitar in there.

Quite a mix of sounds and genres in the first couple of minutes. I guess I'd have to call it prog rock.

I've seen your name on the site before (loopmaker, maybe?) but don't think I've heard any of your music.

I don't love the vocals (not my sort of voice) but they're OK and work well enough for this style.

I would just complain about the drums being so far back in the mix. But then I love fat grooves though maybe you didn't really want any here.

3:42 classy lead sound and sparseness of beat and spacious feel helps us hear it.

This is classy stuff that could be pretty popular amongst people into proper prog rock songs.

Very good vibes here. "Soft rock"

I think the bells bring in the mood of the track quite nicely, as well as the vocals. The solo toward the end rock! And out with he bells, great idea.

Job very done to all involved.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
