I really love this beat. Thinking of throwing something on it. I seem to be in the minority though, as I feel the vibe get thrown a tiny bit by the shouts. I wouldn't have put them in, but that's just me. Otherwise, it's clean. Very nice man.

nothing weird about it to my ear MrShores...Its just good music put in a modern hip hop context..actually I don`t find the bass overstated at all...with the kick its holding down the bottom end well and I have noticed that bass is generally a more prominent part of music that it used to be...as far as EQ in your high mids go...I always give the lead (piano) its natural space and make other overlapping sounds go around it...I like the track...its really well done..and I really don`t think it needs more than you have here.....much enjoyed....Ed

Its strange that I played guitar professionally for many years, but have always admired the sound of a piano. This is a beautiful song and piano can tell a story like no other instrument. Use a little subtractive eq in the mids and this will clean up nicely.

beautiful lyrical intro. i am really hearing the rap over this one so I think you have succeeded. introducing classical feeling with strings,extended melodic sections is innovative fresh sounding. the "shouts" remind us we are still in hip-hop land! the dissonance in piano at the end is unexpected bite! nice work.

For me it's complete as is; it does not need any singing or rapping.

And what a wonderful idea that shouting.

read your comment about the bass It's funny I just learned this today so hope it helps I am using FL 10 but if can try adjusting the mixer volume or a parametric equalizer or a limiter helps control the pitch power and volume of the bass again hope this helps and I love your work.

I really like it - great use of strings and the melody is compelling. I liked the background 'heys'. The production values are actually very good bass and all. On its own it is good with a good lyric I think it could be great. I can tell you took some time with this.

I'm a fan of piano and strings, in this instrumental they sound really good! The melodies are expressive that provokes the mind to wonder while enjoying as it goes along. I like the ideas you had for this. I hear what you mean about the bass in your face but thankfully I got bass n treble knobs on my speakers so I can really get the most enjoyment out of this great tune. That bass is alive and breathing! The only suggestion would be to adjust the bass and treble eq that I believe could turns this clearer and give a good bang through speakers. On headphones it's more controlled but again the eq would make this shine. Really like this man. Good 1st attempt and thank you for sharing! Have a good 1, Peace.
