Description : Hi there! Well, I was bored with a lot of work. The college is killing me! Anyway, I've been absent 'cause I've been really busy. I wanted to make a song and I did it. The name of this piece is because of I imagined a kind of story. According to the story that wove my head, is set in the future. A virus is killing all women. This virus was created by an evil organization that wants to have the control to establish a new world order. There is a resistance group. But there is a huge difference of forces. All women who belong to this group of rebels are dying because of this virus. Only one is immune, and she is the key to the whole thing. She must be protected. And for her bad luck, her husband falls in battle. Now she has to survive somehow. So, the song is a cry of hope and despair. She is Annüin, the last widow. Ahm, I wrote lyrics for this song. Wanna hear? Go here! :D [ https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/146940 ] This song was made in Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium. I hope you like it! Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...

Hi SoleilxLune,

This is a fav of mine also. Great track. I've been searching for music for a book trailer of mine. It's not about a virus that kills off women, but an actual war between man and woman. You can read an excerpt here:

I wish you the best with school and your writing!

Nice track to get back here in the community, noticed this track 4 days late ;( But it has a very nice atmosphere to it and I don't have any criticism to it really ;) Good luck further with college and I hope you can be more active so I can here more of your songs but I understand that that is not always possible ;d

Well, I'd really want to stay here the most of the time. But I can't. You know, responsabilities and so on. I try to distribute my free time equally: for music, for drawing, for poetry, for Photoshop, for fandubs, etc, etc...
I carry on very slowly.
Anyway, thanks again for listening and comment! :D

Thanks to you, for using my song.
I'm thinking of write lyrics for this one.
Well, actually, I have the lyrics written. The bad thing is, english is not my native language, so the song will sound not very good. The lyrics are dark (like the songs from Silent Hill games), but basic ('cause my english is not perfect).
Anyway, thanks again! :D

I don't know why I didn't particularly like this at first - maybe I wasn't paying attention. On second listen, it's excellent and I probably agree with all the praise everyone else has already written.

I've never heard of Magix Music Maker (it sounds really cheap and tacky) but you clearly know how to put together a track in it.

There is great beauty in this and the bells work perfectly with the vocals.

Where do those vocals from?

It reminds of some of Enya's best and most haunting stuff though doesn't sound like her.

It doesn't need any other changes and doesn't get boring, is just about the right length and structure and I don't really have any criticisms of it!
SoraSolitudine
SoraSolitudine replied 16th Aug 2013 - 11 years ago
At first, thanks for taking your time at comment. It's very significative to me.
Well, about Magix Music Maker... ahmm, it's not very cheap if you ask me. The software has a price and each Soundpool (pack of loops) has another.
And I think is not tacky. Well, it's very easy to use for me, 'cause I know nothing about music.
About vocals... they are from the Soundpools. Each soundpool has some styles, and each style has some loops of some instruments. All is about your creativity at mixing.
Well, I think that's it. Thanks again for listening and comment.

(Ps: you said that this song didn't need any change, well... I changed it just a little, you know, I improved it).

Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...

Description : 4!_(07@2nd) harmonic protocol reboot sequence

This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.

Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”
Genre: Cinematic
