Friend this is amazing, totally loving the vibe and warmth coming from the vocals, very nice vocals, working so nice within the track, beat sweet, man this sounds good enough to be on the radio, seriously this is brilliant, best track heard doing reviews today for sure...MASSIVE FAV....Peace n much respect friend, hope all is going well for you in your side of the world...Mosaic....
I dont know how I missed this one earlier SpellJammer....but glad I caught up with it...That is a really fat kick & some very tasty keys...but the vocal is the star....well done....I`m working on my R&B lessons.......Ed
This is without a doubt a high, top class creation right here. I am expecting to hear this being played by big people. This is something that has potential to replace the terrible stuff played these days. Great masterpiece, my friend. I look forward to hearing more great things from you.
The production level is brilliant, indeed...everything from the vocals down to the mix. I'd expect to turn on the radio an hear this! Well done...YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO FEEL NERVOUS ABOUT!
"Peoples styles and sounds generally change with the prevailing popular culture sounds at the time and you never know if guys who enjoyed your stuff before would still be able to relate"
I would say that if it's good, people should be able to relate, regardless of changes in popular culture. People aren't that fickle and trendy, are they? I don't make stuff based at all on popular culture or currently 'what's going on' or popular in clubs or whatever. I just see the past 40 or so years of popular music as being something for me to play around with however I like and I'm not really even trying to sound like any of it anyway; rather take it forward and make something new and unusual.
In your case, you need to worry even less bcause you've got an rnb track here with a classic modern rnb feel. I don't really see what anyone into that genre of music would find lacking in it or what sort of different sound they would prefer it to have. I don't follow the genre so I could be quite wrong but I'm fairly sure this would be liked by most rnb fans if they manage to get the chance to hear it.
"This is the first track ive uploaded in a few months. Feel nervous"
Well you certainly have no need to be nervous as this is really very good, exactly as everyone else has already said. And I don't really even like r'n'b. I prefer the old, original r'n'b as in rhythm and blues.
Anyway, this moves so comfortably and smoothly, I'm not quite sure how to fault it.
Thanks man, I always get nervous when returning and uploading on the loop after a long Hiatus. Peoples styles and sounds generally change with the prevailing popular culture sounds at the time and you never know if guys who enjoyed your stuff before would still be able to relate. Thanks for stopping by.
I didn't realize at first that this was a production for two other artists. The same compliment holds true. Everyone that worked on this is AMAZING! Pure sexiness, great vibe, radio ready!!!
Well HELLO!! I don't believe we've met, let me sit down right next to you and say HELLO!!! All pleasantries aside, HOT DAMN!
Now this is RnB, the kind I want to hear on the radio- not that cheap mainstream stuff they play. There's real soul in this, a real sexiness and absolute talent. I'd be surprised if you aren't already signed, honestly.
Hey JJ,thank you for your kind review, this is more of a hobby for me :) Music has always been my passion though so thank you for taking the time to listen and share your thoughts, much appreciated :)
