Description : Just a new song with a very long intro...
Feat. Nacole and Stephanie Kay on vocals and I also used a drumloop from Mmedia.
Edit: I made some changes but can't update the track here because it takes an eternity to do so with my current internet connection. But it's up on Soundcloud.
Really nice piano piece in this
Vocals fit it too, feels as though there may be too much mids, but that's just me :) Mid's are a hard thing to perfect :)
Keep at it! Don't give up trying
Hey thanks!
Yes, a lot of flaws here. I had no clue about how to make the mix clearer back then but am getting a grip of it now - I should do a remake on this and try to fix the muddiness and make the kick punchier etc.
SJ I should confess this was instructive for me abut the form!
considered and thoughtfull devemopmenT of track in
ParT A(mysterius theme )turnes to a groovy house by adding those beats in that way ( for example I call that parT B __and this part workd as a bridge betwwen parts A & C ) and
most interesting is how after parT B and with a nice alterasion ,We come to Part C in which scale changes to major and mystrious & suspended theme comes to a grooy & energetic one .
by the way , this admirable tarrenT in which music ( insrumental) and singer's voice was tuned well & set very good is . another notable point of this track of yours .verywell done SJ. best wishes.___Behnam
It's always so interesting to read your comments, I'm learning things about Music theory every time when reading them!
I really didn't build this song in a considered way at all, it just became this way merely relying on my intuition.
And I'm glad to hear that it worked anyway.
Thanks for the kind words Behnam and take care!
Sounds good to me...a bit phasey in places but you got me with the intro which was excellent!!.....House definitely is hanging in there as apposed to Trance (what happened to that?)..cool
Hi PJB!
So you also liked that intro?
Well it's good to hear although I really entended to make a proper house tune this time with no odd ingredients...and this is what came out of it. Lol..
Trance is still alive - here on Looperman! =D
I've listened to some trance today even. I would like to ask what happened to techno?
Or maybe it's all techno but with a different name...
sounds alot better than before, only thing I would do is make sure you are using MONO for your bassline, that way the stereo image is focused on the center, your bassline is phasing inand out of the left and right sides, not pleasing to the ear, and the bassline should be 30-100 Hz, you can then layer some stereo bass tracks on top that are 100-130 Hz and have them phasing
Hello Mister and thank you for the constructive criticism!
I'll check in to that phasing issue and try to follow those guidelines about frequenses. But I'm not really there yet in terms of mixing and EQ'ing properly.
Hey SJ,....that intro was great and the transition to the main section right on....not having any real expertise on the genre I cant offer any intelligent suggestions...I just enjoyed the listening to this one....Ed
Hi again, Ed!
It seems that the intro is what people like in this song, and I thought the intro to be too boring!
Haha...
Thanks so much for listening and for the long answer to my comment about your song today - no need to post that loop I was asking for - I was just curious about the instrument and wanted to know if I could somehow make the same beat in a FL DAW.
And about your songs - DON'T DELETE THEM!!
Seriously great - loved the intro. Shades of Moby again. Production values are very good. There was a point where I expected it to take off and it didn't as much as I expected. There was the tension throughout and it didn't payoff with a release or a hard riff. You've really gotten good with the piano counterpoint which is very interesting.
Yes your exactly right about that tension relief or take off!!!
I heard it in my head while making this and it just never happened...I couldn't get it OUT.
It really needs a serious drop and then a take off!
Gaaah...have to rework this then.
all seriously joking aside... :-) pleasantly surprised! wow. nice intro. I would LOVE to hear a reworked version kinda accapella stripped down w/ same intro. The rest is good too. So how do I work w/ Thee????? (have stuff for hook/vox)

Thank YOU Kenny for being a part of that process by giving lots of feedback!
(I hope I'm still growing though...lol...not really happy with my current level here.)
Thanks for listening and take care!

Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : Funk House/Disco inspired by Daft Punk
No Samples used
Instruments:
Various vintage synths
Kontakt libraries: Ilya Efimov Telecaster for guitar, Session Horns Pro, Chris Hein Strings, NI Guitars
Vocals: Plogue Chipspeech & Alter Ego
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment

Description : Update: So this was the looper tune that started it all for me on this site. Hard to believe it was Over 10 years ago. This tune carries the ethos I bring to music...interesting, always change the genre mid-flight and you won't see what's coming next. Also cool to see the early comments and who is still around as well. (#Feeling retro tonight) Orig: Trance-step tune that changes direction a few times
just perfect
top music
Vocals fit it too, feels as though there may be too much mids, but that's just me :) Mid's are a hard thing to perfect :)
