Description : This goes out to all the haters, trolls, and leeches. It was all written and produced today. I'm calling it dubstep for many reasons, but it has elements of industrial and psy to it. It's at 143 BPM which is a little on the fast side, and it's written in B locrian mode. Don't you judge me.

You can get the new Spivkurl album "Charting The Anomaly," which includes this track at the We Are... Records Capitalist Market found here: http://www.wearerecords.com/capitalistmarket.html

Nice vocals and drum beat, but bass is a bit too distorted. Anyway, great mixed!

Cool to have you listen to a couple of my songs! I think the distorted bass is what gives this an industrial feel, that and the vocals any way. Just had something to say, so I said it. Thanks for stopping in!

Hey man some feedback,
Your beat is really good and you have some really nice chopped vocals loops and effects in your song. But your song is way better without vocal, it ruined it IN MY OPINION. Keep it up!!!
Spivkurl
Spivkurl replied 21st Dec 2013 - 11 years ago
Hey friend, thanks for the honest feedback. Really this song wasn't intended for listening enjoyment, but as an outlet of feelings, reactions, and ideas. I know most people don't get into dubstep with vocals, and I know I'm no professional singer. It was one of the more spontaneous things I've done in a while, and that has merit unto itself. I appreciate you listening and leaving a review though, so thank you!

I really like those glitchy vocals from 0:10-0:25. And I love the heaviness that the bit-crushed style synth brings.

I liked this a lot Patrick! It's not necessarily dub-step per say but something deeper in a more nouveaux way. Some ideas to call it....Spastic-step, Industro, Vitrol-step, bitter-better, AUIYF (All up in your face)or the ever popular Trip-step-fall. You can tell I am using my Evil-marketing degree to good use here. I like the way you use vocals and specifically hard consonants as a percussive sound on your vocals. good work!

Thanks for listening my friend! I like your marketing ideas, but at the same time I shudder to think what more related genre labels will do to the music industry... ha ha! Did you mean vitriol-step? That would make sense. This was all made pretty quickly, so that percussive vocal element was just a glitch that worked. It's good to hear from you on this one!

Yo, Spivkurl. Stop flooding this site with your SHIT! We're having to employ industrial cleaners to remove it all and it's one hell of a job. And it still smells really bad after each deep clean.

0:19-0:21 there's actually a really cool little tune in that twisted vocal sound. Definitely take advantage of that! Cut it out and extend it. Could even be a type of chorus.

I am indeed in your Spivkurlian face but I'm not judging you (you are above judgement - only God and the Devil are qualified to do that). But you'll never put me in my place!

Let me know what you think of it! My mixing/mastering skills arent the best. I put the song under the Dubstep genre (because of the instrumental) but with all the singing i'm not sure if it's more popish or not. What do you think?
