Description : I started to record this track as a soft soul song and after some twists and turns it came out as a Reggae song..

Hey groovy track you did here! Definitely sounds pretty old school as far as reggae goes. Good sounding vocals, and the mix is good too. People already mentioned the volume, but I do like a song that forces me to turn it up myself. Killer song! Fave!

Hi,

Very nice track and what I would call the softer side of reggae. Good job.

Best wishes,

Mark/Larry!

I love me a good reggae cover! This is going on my phone to listen to out and about, you should feel honoured ;)
Do have to agree with ScottB55 on the vocal volume though!

Really cool track. Overall volume and vocal track levels could be higher, though. Other than that...Good Job!

Cheers,

I haven't listened to reggae stuff for a long time now, so this certainly brings memories back and it's so incredibly reminiscent of UB40...thx for sharing!:)

So delicate and beautiful.
Liked the mixture of "classical" reggae vibe and the more electronic sounds. Well done.

Description : Music composed by Alex Richard and Laurent Wirz. With: Hanspeter Dubach Lead and rhythm guitars, Alex Richard Bass and rhythm guitars, Claude Barbotte Hammond organ, Joël Perrin Saxophone and me at the drums. The two grooves I used for this one are to find under Loops and Sample, member laurentwirz, reggae. Also an excellent loop from member ebae. I have to say that I asked Michael Mayo before publishing it but I received no answer yet. It was pretty difficult with his acapella because it's a pretty short loop with not a lot of words (for an almost 5 minutes track)! You can ear also some background vocals from Patricia Edwards and I hope it's okay for her.

Description : Richard Shekari and I worked on this project earlier this year. I play bass, guitar, banjo, dobro and also sing on this. Richard added a cool harmonica sound and has an amazing voice. I have learned a lot from him, Richard produced this track.

Description : A quick idea I did in one day, 2 mixes, more an exercise for myself than anything serious. Inspirations were a Peter Tosh docu for the reggae feel, a surfing vid on what a point break was for the vox, the Ace of Bass vid The Sign for the drums and Jaco Pastorius song Crisis for a bit of inspirational bass thrown in. 2 drum loops used and a vocal effect loop for the heck of it in the middle, he. Live percussion, cabasa, guiro and double maraca. Me on git, bass, vox. Here comes Summer!

Description : NEW - 2014 - I used a few samples from sterixx called riddim.
And one from seanmccuaig called vocal beat.
I used some lyrics from an older song by myself. It was more a dark wave song befor but i realy enjoyed it to sing and produce it in reggae style.
Hope you enjoy this version also.
