Description : I wanted to play that kind of music when being a bass player in my ex-band, but due to the different musical views in the band I never made it. Now, when I came in touch with all this splendid software I can come closer to my desired style. I made this one with the noteworthy help and support of my old friend Orlando51. He was involved in adding some arrangements, as well in mixing and final production. So this was a kind of collab work. I hope you enjoy listening...any comment would be appreciated.

for the most part of dreams to awaken is for to believe in self as mine are still asleep while eye do believe in self yet mine lack others to see them ...lol.... truly awesome sound art here indeed...keep at your strive for the goal and truly the prize is already yours won ...peace
Beautiful song.
Beautiful voice and good melody. Liked a lot (somebody mentioned Ozzy... I can hear some little influences from him indeed, but you definitely have your own character).
Outstanding work on the guitars: they work perfectly with your voice.
What could be improved according to my very humble opinion:
- the transition from the intro to the real song could be better (1:04) ... beautiful intro by the way
- some guitars are too quiet (2:50 to 3:04, 4:18)
- the bass sounds a bit "too" repetitive; very good idea but throwing a small change here and there would make it even better
- changing the bass sound so "dramatically" between intro and song takes out a bit of the "live band" feeling this song has (very minor thing...)
That said, I have to agree to Bear: this is one of the best things I have heard on looperman in a while.
Very well done!
Looking for more!

There are a couple of things I liked about this. First, it sounds like it came straight out of 1972. This could easily be put in a line-up next to Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Iron Butterfly, etc. It's got a great pre-metal classic rock vibe. In my opinion, one of the most important movements in rock and roll. (But that's only because without bands like that, the heavy metal that I love would never have come along.)
Second, I love that driving rhythm. It keeps you under it's wheel the whole time without ever running you over. The vocals are great. Again, adding to that whole early 70's thing. If this is the style you wanted to do, not only can I see why, but I'm glad you finally got to do it!
Take care.

Cool track I like how you put it together, Maaad Guitars....Yep right there..
Good Song I could hear this on the Radio for sure...
Nice work work by you Both...
Wow, very nice production, the intro was fantastic. Ozzi Osbourne like effects on the vocals, big and spacious, they fit the music nicely. The production is BIG sounding. Great track!
Hit it you have ( sounding like Yoda!!)a masterful track, music and vocals sitting together nicely.. definitely an Orlando influence in there, but with more than enough of your originality. I Recognise some of the loops but cant quite place them!! Just a couple of minor points - the intro is good but just wondering whether a male choral effect might add to it ( say between 0.10-0.22 when you have a really nice change)and just wandering if the change at 1.05 when the vocals kick in could be sweetened slightly? Just my humble opinion, and considering the crap track I have recently uploaded I should talk!!! No escaping the fact however that this is a very very good track. Well done and I will be spinning this on loopradio if that is ok with you. Thanks for sharing.
You and I are worlds apart in genre, but you can't hide beauty. The lead, rhythm and bass guitar are all on point but the heart of this track is your voice and theres no doubt about that. It was definitely crafted for Rock/Alternative music..
Great build on this one, almost like a runaway train that is building speed heading down the track. Orlando did a masterful job with the mixing and mastering side of things.
One of the best tunes I've heard in a while. Great vocals, are they yours? Excellent job and definitely added to favorites. Well done!
Massive, groovy based solid rock music...I specially like the first part, how it builds up...I welcome that the vocs are deep in the music...for me it's a good mix...

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

This is the clarity and focused sound I try to achieve., but clutter everything up.
