Beautifully constructed song. The vocal lines and the guitar work are particularly good and work so well together. Love that string pad in the background too - very atmospheric. Great track. Love it. Lovely solo too. Super stuff.
I was struck by the beautiful dovetail of voice to electric guitar solo. it was amazing. gave me a chill. a beautiful song my friend. beautiful atmosphere you achieve. super guitar playing. thoroughly enjoying! regards. Dan
Hey Dan,
Thanks for your nice review, it´s not me playing the guitar for this track in fact 90% of loops no live instruments or vocals in here, thanks for spending time and have a listen,
DRO
Thanks Mate,
i know live instruments and vocals where better and i still work on it,first try´s where not that good, however we´ll see :)
Thanks again you could turn by and have a listen, DRO
Hey DESTERO,
Really liking this song, well mixed.
I love the vocals as well, gives the whole mix a really chilled out feel.
Keep up the good work man,
All the best and stay well,
George
Great just great! The beginning of it was just an emotional start to an amazing song. I love the atmospheric sounds you used within the track, adds character to it. The vocals just makes it complete. The percussion and drums is on target and the mix sounds great. All in all, you did a great job man! Hope to hear more from you in the early future, take care! :)
truly blown away, this is great in so many ways, when i saw it was rock i was expecting to hear a pop rock type of tune but this is a masterpiece you have here,i love the way the guitars come in sets the chill mood, really applaud your craftsmanship .
Wow! This is really good!
I am not sure how much "room for changes" you have on the vocal part: if possible, you should try to get it a bit cleaner (like proposed by Evan).
A possible approach would be to have the same vocal part on two tracks: one of them will stay "almost dry" and the other can get the effects you need (and you can also apply a subtle detune to this latter one).
Also, what I often do, instead of applying the delay to the whole vocal part, I cut the bits I want to get delayed and I put them on a separate track: so the delay effect is only on a special vocal track. This is all to keep the original vocals so "intelligible" as possible.
You did a wonderful job with the guitar sound: simply beautiful! Both clean and distorted sounds work incredibly well.
So, please let me join the others in faving this song: this is one of the greatest songs on looperman ever (top 10? maybe...I need to think about it, but top 50 for sure)
Looking forward to hearing your new songs, but be aware: you set the bar very high ;-)
Ciao, Domenico
Hey D,
thanks for that much praise glad you like, fixed the vocals ,hope it sounds a bit cleaner :)thanks again for turn in and have a listen, by the way the bar is very high and there is a lot a work to do for my next rock project i´ll try to set the bar a little higher,(possibly) we´ll see, nice review

This is a great song. I was surprised to find out it was loops. I thought for sure you were using live instruments. Your ability to arrange them, and then mix/master them is top quality.
This song is a good mellow listen. It kind of just grabs you by the hand and pulls you in. There's really nothing off-putting about it. I'm not sure who you have on vocals, but she kind has a Martha Davis quality to her voice. That's a good thing in my opinion. The ending is a good ending. It doesn't abruptly end, and it doesn't drag on. It's a gentle piece. Almost melancholic.
I don't fave many songs, but I will have to do so on this one. I liked it quite a bit.
Thanks V,
glad you like ,don´t know anything about the voice,it´s with the loops i download for this song but live vocals and instruments on the way and i hope it´s quite done next time.
Thanks again for Fav and turning for a listen, nice review,DRO
DRO,
Very nicely done. Great production, killer vocals, intelligent use of guitar effects and the list goes on. Fav'd.
Oh and BTW, easy to spot the influence David Gilmour had on your leads. Nice.
Mark.
Hey MWR,
great honor for me to know that David Gilmour himself could have influence at this track, wish i could ask him self:)
in fact i am surprised about this massive good reviews about this track, next rock projekts build up with live guitars and vocals hope i can get that much credit for it as for my work without live instruments, we´ll see!!,thanks you could turn in and have a listen, realy appreciate your review, all the best,
DRO
You've been putting together some really good tracks just lateley and this one is no exception. The intro reminded me a little of Metalica but that's where the comparison stopped. Lovely work with the vocals and the guitar soloing. It's very professionally done, blended together seemlessly. The strings are nice, the guitars are great and this is just asking to be downloaded and faved so i think i might just have to do that when the track plays out.
This is the best track i've heard today without a doubt.
FR
Hey FR,
thanks a lot for your review,i think it´s better to make this kind a music with live instruments and loops as well, time to change for a new start up,next upcoming is trance and house music till i work this out, maybe i could use at this time live vocals we´ll see:) never reached that level of professionality without the help(reviews) of some nice Mates in here, thanks for that and special thanks to you my friend for inspiration and support, glad to read that you like:)don´t know how much time this new start takes at all ?might be a little longer, until then i´ll do my best here at looperman, thanks for turning in,DRO
Well, they all fit well together. I expected the guitar playing to be yours as I know you do play. Don't you?
It's also a pretty smooth mix and doesn't sound like cut up sample-based music. Much more like a live band. Are you programming the drums or is that also loops?
Hey SN,
sry my mistake, wrote in Lyrics that all loops and samples of me and magix samples did not wrote that its done without live instruments(shame on me):)Yes i play Guitar and in the near future you could hear i promise, like i said everything is on a good way and i wait for my female Vocalist to do first steps in live music with her voice and guitar as well, drums are 75% of loops and the rest is selfmade with cpu (beatbox),thanks again for turn in and review,DRO
Hey SN,
first up ,thanks for turn in and review, all i do this time is made of synth and loops, sounds simple? not realy,i can tell you;)no live instruments yet, but soon as possible ,everything is under construction, live Vocals on the way ,meanwhile we have to listen loops and synths ,glad you like and have a nice day ,DRO
Real great track here DESTERO. Trippy dark elements with the guitar, chill as well. Vocals fit in naturally, clear mix of the instruments too. Real haunting vibe this one has, could of been on any number of Silent Hill soundtracks. Very nice like that outro, peace
Thanks GN,
it´s not that much mainstream music i should do, silent hill is a nice movie and maybe it´s sounds a little cinematic as well, how ever nice you like and thanks again for turn in and comment:),DRO
Nice laid back rock track, cool feeling to it and I like the pace of it. Lead guitars sound great, cool effects and tone. Vocals are excellent. There is a melancholic, somber tone to the track which I like a lot. Creative ending as well.
Hey DRO
I love your elements...great tones and nice blend of arpegios and leads.
You're still mixing like a guitar player though
On my Equipment the vocals are still getting a little buried by the guitars....lol
You create such great guitar tones...I get it... I wanna hear them all but it's muddyin up the waters a bit when they layer up.
I love what you do man
I really do
Please don't take what I am sayin as anything more than an opinion.
Even if you don't tweak a single thing in this track it will still be in my Faves
I want you to be encouraged about your music production but unless you have serious issue with it I'll always tell you what I really think.
Peace my Friend
BT
Hey BT,first up thanks for your suggestions and thanks for turn in and comment,im not sure if i understand your review right,on my equipment the sound is clear and so i can´t imagen what you mean, I had the Vocals been settled down a little, maybe not enough if you say that it does not sound good on your equipment, please let me know exactly what i can do better :)
i appreciate your review and wish you a nice day,DRO
Good job Destero. Another well constructed rock song by you. I really enjoy your work and have a good idea what to expect when I listen to one of your tracks. You definitely have a certain production style in the way you put tracks together. Very cool.
Anyone putting out similar music on the loop should be jealous of your stuff! LOL
Hello RW,
jealous...honors me somehow >=0)but i do nothing else, i take a loop and put similar music on it, thats the way this track is born ,nice you like and thanks for your positiv review,DRO
Soft bed of tones you've created. Great guitar sound and seems rather polished. Lead guitar tone is heartbreakingly forlorn and plaintive. Love it.
Vocals are great. The delay's mix knob sounds cranked. A bit distracting. Some Ts and Ss sound a bit harsh when echoed. The feedback amount sounds good, I'd just like to hear the delayed signal to be a bit more "distant" or "corroded" compared to the initial dry vocal.
Overall, fuggin loved it. Everything I've heard from you has been spectacular. You are a new favorite of mine. It all tastes great!
Hey Evan,
Thanks for your your suggestion and turn in to comment,
i still try over the delay at this track ,we´ll see whats happen, nice review my friend and thanks for the listen,i´ll try not to disappoint you,Cheers DRO

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Intro 40 seconds are a bit boring so I prefer the second intro from 0:40 and then the drums and vocals come in.
Good reverb on the vocals and I like the drum sound.
1:39 there's a vocal phrase I really like and then it's repeated a bit later.
Strings sit nicely in this one.
2:24 good start to the guitar solo, with chilled drums behind.
This is really very musical. Are you doing everything apart from the vocals? Who is singing? She has a great voice.
Good length to this track. You don't rush things but instead let the music breathe.
Congratulations.
