Description : This song is about desire (forbidden fruit). I'm sure this little story will ring true with a few here. I have pulled all the stops out on this, 9 piece horn section, soaring lead guitar intro and link from my Les Paul, bass and tenor sax solos (first bass solo I have ever recorded). The song has a blues flavour with a twist of slow latin mixed. I don't know how that happened, but I'm glad it did.

Hi Mos, I'm going to have to pay you for these glowing reviews! I'm glad both you and your good lady enjoyed this track, I put a lot into this one, so thank you both for the support..
Wow I'm honoured to be your first review and listen. I'm glad you like the track, and I'm glad your enjoying my loops. Let me know when you have uploaded some tracks... Keep smiling!
Hi ElectricKitten, I'm glad you liked the bass solo so much! Up North in England we say "The Dogs" as in dogs bollocks, meaning good or cool. But the real question is "Are dogs bollocks cool"! The last time I held a pair they were warm lol...
This is epic, reminds me of santana, Only crit is that the lead guit is too far "back", less reverb could bring that great guitar line to its rightful place at the lead of the band. Otherwise great Mix, great playing.
Hi Acrylic, I will look at your suggestion on the guitar issue, I feel you have a valid point. Being a woodwind player firstly reverb is a effect I always use, however I have to start thinking of the guitar as a guitar and not as woodwind. Thank you for your kind supportive words..
havent had a listen to any of your stuff in a while.this is great, as a bassist myself i loed the bass solo. guitar sounds great. accually it all sounds great, nice to hear you singing again. i loved this tune alot!
loved the distant guitar solo in the begining. and the words were great!
i wana hear more of you singing :D
Hi Helven, long time no hear bud! Thanks for the review, and if I remember correctly we where going to do a collaboration. Do you have a track in mind?
Thank you for this great piece of music. It gives me a lucky feeling and put a smile on my face. I like most the vocal and the melody on it. Dld.& Favs.
Greetings from Berlin.

This is the best song you have made. Very balanced, good mix. And wow that sax solo is really great. The mix of sometimes strange sounds is really good. I love it.

Slap you are actually one of a great musician to whom i listened, this is the very first time i am commenting on your work coz i never ever had words to comment on your work.
This is a super and a completely professional track, all things are going together with a nice flow and horn is simply great.
this track is i think a father of master piece which can give many more master pieces.
Love ya

Hi RashidKhan, wow man you are a very kind and loving fellow. I am deeply honoured by your comments, they mean everything, thank you!
I am so glad your staying on this site, you have a lot of friends and new ones to find. Guess what! You just made one. Me!!
Super!...Love that line "I could dance my life away"....When you hear one of these compilations of one individual's musical dexterity you think...Holy Cow,there must have been a logjam in the reincarnation switchboard the day this guy was born..there's about a half dozen different muso's inside him!...and to top it all off he's just put a lot of Bass players out of work!(great solo by the way!)...I'm in agreement with Bill..we should give up playing or at least find an instrument you can't play...Hmmmm..this is going to be hard. lol...fantastic track mate, smooth and smokey and way sexy...cheers planet :)
Hi Planet, or should I say Mr 1000+ reviews (well done Man). I loved the studio pic you posted, wow! What a set up. I will post mine up soon (to be honest, mine's a very small one! Studio that is!!!).Thanks for the kind words on the track, I've been kind of busy doing other stuff to get the lyrics finished on this track. So today I pushed everything to one side and cracked on. The music's been finished since July! But then again I do have 38 other tracks that need finishing off. If only we had more hours in a day!
I love this track Slap.
I'd have loved a deaper bass solo though, but the high notes worked great.
Are you using an octaver on the lead guitar parts because something sounds wrong with it, pitch wise. Other than that it's perfect.
Great track.
Hi Helix, I did'nt use an octaver pedal, but I did cut and paste the guitar and transpose it down a octave. It kind of clashes in places! I have now remixed the song and removed that part, I think it has now fix that problem. Thanks for pointing it out... Cheers Slap...

Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
Description : UPDATE 26/01/2014: Improved loads of things in what is probably my greatest chillout alternative blues piece. Ambient, ethereal, groove-based delta slide blues. Contemplative and melodic. Multiple, layered , sometimes shimmering resonator guitar parts with solid, warm synth bass, an ethereal bed of pads (which are actually guitars) and second electronic drumkit to contrast the acoustic kits. I thought this was perfect a few years ago but it wasn't (and still isn't). Now has clearer drums and lots of small awkward bits of guitar have been trimmed. Quite a minimalistic and short piece for me - I don't just keep bringing in new instruments, as I usually do. This should really chill you out...
