You should make a song with just piano and some super deep, muffled synths and large sweeping strings. I love the way the piano sounds in this one. Superb job.
"I dislike over doing it when it comes to this type of track"
I know - you're great at minimal, emotive chill. I'd like to get more minimal like that but generally can't help just piling on more layers and complexity.
Thaks for letting me know about that Spitfire piano - it's a lovely instrument. Shame I don't have the Kontakt player.
But hearing instruments like that is really tempting me to get it as I know there are just so many great sample packs available for it. Could really expand my musical repertoire. If I had some of your sounds I might be able to do something a little like what you do.
Shame I had to remove a drumless cinematic piece called Visible Aura from the site a while ago due to reaching the 50 track maximum as I think it might be the one piece by me you'd be into. Maybe I'll upload it elsewhere sometime and send you a link.
I also need to get some good brass sounds and CineSamples CineBrass sound like a good one.
Congrats on another lovely piece. Bet you're working on another right now!
Beautifully Scored!!! Light feeling and tender for sure but i could see cuttin into this track with a deep hollow bass and pumping up the BPM for a Melodic EDM track....

hi. nice minimal work. I said 'minimal' because you seem to operate effortlessly with just a little amount of elements. I really enjoyed the sound quality and the harmonc structure of the song. Peaceful and enjoyable work. Best, Alex
Hello. You're really a master of these short, emotive, cinematic, beautiful pieces. I kind of say the same thing every time!
There's a real simplicity to what you do and there's often (seemingly) not that much going on in the mix, very much unlike my music work. It's also fairly recognisably your sound, which is another good thing.
A real gentle beauty to what you do but it's never boring stuff.
Very first piano type of sound here is great and there's some subtle percussive element behind it. What is that?
Then emotive strings building things up. Then maybe even some double bass hits or perhaps some other type of drum eg 0:37. A very acoustic, stringy sort of sound. Double bass?
1:10 I like the second string part that enters.
It's not the most original music ever made but it's just so very well done. Keep doing more...
Thanks again for your very detailed feedback here, enjoyed reading your thoughts.
You're right on saying there's not much going on, there's probably around 8 layers of main track but I dislike over doing it when it comes to this type of track, my intention was to have a track that can be easily used with a time lapse.
Behind the piano is part of the library which I used, nothing additional. I usually adjust the high/low/mid ranges a fair bit which creates some interesting results.

As far as I can remember, the track has a violin section and a cello section and then I'm using a nice sound from Project Sam's Orchestral Essentials to create a bigger sounding track. There's an additional brass layer which is from CineSamples CineBrass.
The 1:10 string section is my favourite. I got a great feeling after adding that in and hearing it for the first time. There's your Spitfire Audio Symphonic Strings.
I agree, nothing too original hear as I was inspired by composers who create the quick strings (as heard throughout the track), not quite sure what the musical term is for it.
This is a truly amazing piece. I can feel bursts of emotion with every note in this song. Really reminds me of a track named "Dearly Beloved" from an old soundtrack.
I sat back in my chair and got taken on a journey with this piece. Superb work in every aspect.

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!
Description : Just send me the link where you use that, please

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
Description : NEVER STOP DREAMING!
