Description : ***UPDATE*** Changed the strings to something else that worked, and changed the arrangement to make it sound less mainstream
I made the title 'Mankind' cos I think the song is sort of how mankind was formed; by slowly and slowly building a better community. This is a deep house song with a loop from DJ Laze. I hope you like it :)
I don't have that much to say after my last review but thought I'd drop in to say that your new string part is much more suitable now. There's no jarring clash with that bassline.
I can't listen to the previous version so what have you done to the strings since first upload?
It's not a perfect fit with the flute part (strings+flute) but I guess that's OK. A bit odd can be cool and helps a track stand out from others.
I'd quite like that string part to be bigger and fatter, certainly at times. Try to add some stereo widening effect to it as that will help. I use various stereo widening effects (or collection of effects) a great deal. Helps a lot on guitar parts which sound a bit weedy. Also useful to try out on anything else that needs to be more powerful. Doesn't always work but it's often worth at least trying.
This is quite a simple little tune but it's a bit of fun that people will definitely groove to on the dancefloor.
Hey buddy, this is interesting for sure. I guess I've read the few comments, and I think I'm still hearing a sour interval or two between notes of the bass and whatever the synth is. I think the timing and arrangement is cool, and it's got your signature all over the mix. Some more expressive sounds would really take the progression to the next level. Enjoyed listening!
now you`re getting somewhere! now it`s a working track. not much happening as Nomad said, but fits nice in deep-house genre, but i see that you made some intro, some outro won`t hurt. that was the artistic part. technically needs some mixing and mastering plus that fx is way up than the other part of the track plus it clips a little so it`s too loud. anyway needs some work, but it builds nicely. worth the work because you won`t do the same mistakes again! Cheers!
I'm really feeling the creativity here. This is rather a simple track, which is easy for all listeners. The loops are timed perfectly, and mostly everything goes together well. The orchestra section is a bit conflicting, but that's just personal opinion. I like how you have the track in a metaphor, comparing it to advances of mankind itself. I encourage you to continue to make your tracks in the most creative manner. Cheers, my friend!
Strings here have a positive, bright, kind of triumphant sound. Gotta say I agree with previous comment that the bassline doesn't go with them. Are they each in a different key or something? That or their rhythms clash. So, not a comfortable fit though they're only heard together for a relatively short period of time. But it's still long enough to be a problem.
Bassline is good and a classic sort of house one. But then those strings return so things get awkward again.
I do quite like the flute part. Quite a seductive sort of melody.
Otherwise, this is a pretty damn minimal track - not much else happening to comment on. Try to make those strings somehow fit better with the bassline. If they're both just straight samples, you'll probably never make them work together. But, if you're programming them, you can always find a way to alter them to make them work better together.
Some good ideas though more work required. But don't give up - it's worth pursuing.
the start is good those orchestral sounds fits in, but not the bassline, those both are sound wierd together and some fade in or something would be nice to be the 1:00 mark "drop" more powerful and that effect @1:00 and around 2:00 needs some mixing or at least a low freq. cut to not stay above all (visible in the waveform). From 1:30-2:15 the kick is kicking something, but not rhythm, the flute is a little but loud, but its allright.
The ideas are nice and this track could be more better with a little more work. Cheers!
Description : An attempt at writing a deep house track. Recorded in some guitar, chopped out some loops and built the track around it. Not sure if you could call it a deep house track though but there you go.
Description : A slightly hypnotic song here, a little impulsive but also comes very relaxing.
As always tinged slightly dark.
I knew again not what kind of a genre it is really.
Therefore, it is under Deep House because that fits in my opinion, quite good. But who knows ....
Who wants to understand the text, but not be German, which can be read by a translation.
To see under - Lyrics ....
Hopefully you like this song - feedback would be nice.
Description : So I took just one pad phrase that Alex wrote and built this monstrosity entirely around it. A gentle deep house ambient sentiment with soft jazzy pianos and deep and dirty bass withs lots and lots of percussion. I really like this one And I hope you do too!
Description : Instrumental version - NOT THE FINAL MIX
Used loops and vox by Joe Funktastic, Loop by Sharpnotes, vox by Sheba (who doesn't seem to be on this site anymore). If I've left anyone out I'll come back and edit this.
Anyway, I haven't uploaded anything in a while after a death in the family. Hope to remedy that with more tracks.

Somtimes a banana is not enough, so i turned up my smoothie mixer added some strawberries and this got me back to my roots. I started with fl and deep house. I programmed a slow analog drum machine Blofeld mixed with 808 and Rickenbacher Bass.
Description : Strated making this Deep House styled track yesterday and yea... :D Hope you people like it or dont like it :) and feedback would be great always :)
Description : Again some new experiments. Welcome to my first G-House attempt! It was pretty muck constructed with loops but i also used some one-shots from my packs. Enjoy, comment and download! Peace.
Description : Another wee tune I made in Ableton, I found a cool funky guitar loop on here from a user called Danke and also a vocal from a user on here called Searz. The rest I made myself using various samples and instruments
Description : Thank you very much to everyone and please feel free to leave your comments

Congrats!
thank you! I completely changed the strings to something else and more simple.
Yeah, it's supposed to be odd.

Thanks :)
