Description : First of all, I warn you, this is messy. I put this up so in the hope of getting a lesson from you (experienced musician).
I crafted the harp and sax (no, I don't play them) but the drum beat i took from the loops library. And... they don't complete each other, I must say. I dunno how to adjust the tempo and offset whatever the terms called to match the other 2 virtual instrument tunes I made. If anyone can give me an insight to how things work, I would be better.

Have been attempting to write 2-3 songs over the past couple of months with little success, when this one just appeared out of nowhere.
It's a bit odd I guess (which is why I tagged it as weird) but I enjoyed creating and listening back to it, so here it is.

-"BLAST CULT" upright bass (MADE IN USA 2016)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.

Description : I am quite open to all kind of music out there. This time I had some Church organ pipes lying around. With the help of 2nick8 and IMHO one of his best songs out there I put him into a big room and let the organs speak. Yes, maybe weird, maybe different, maybe 2nick8 will throw some egg against me ... I did it. What do you all think of it? (I changed the Genre to "Weird" in the meantime but "Experimental" would do also.

In the period when i was not on LM i didd go on
to fill my older beats with my voice.
I wish i could delete the snares.
They are sometimes in the wrong place.
But when i go from fl20 on old laptop to fl21 on new laptop , i didd delete all my old tracks to make a fresh start with a empty laptop.Now i feel sorry.

its of a lady who committed a crime of passion, tortured her BF for 3 days before killing him because he had "snitched" and put many people in Jail.she shows no remorse at all and is presentably a very highly intelligent individual..this is a project i did.
basically some cinematic ambiance to accompany the tone of the convo and at the end i just put some simple loops of strings,arps and a nice killer guitar...didnt work hard on the drums tho..i dont know what genre this is so i will put it under "weird" then sit in a corner and cry coz no one listens to weird stuff lol

Description : Again not sure of genre but it is kinda weird. Very much an experiment and Im not sure if it works but someone will let me know no doubt. If you can cope at all probably better with headphones. Pad sound is guitar treated with reverbs, crazy drums constructed from Akai kits and free jazz SFZ kit, sax samples and minimal synth line from arturia minifreak
Cool track. I like the harp part and the sax melody works very nicely with it.
I would maybe use a different sound for the melody: it is very hard to get a convincing sax out of a VST, and on the other hand is quite easy to get impressive synth sounds with them.
Regarding the "messy part".
Nothing terribly wrong with your track.
My only thought is that your harp line is "approx" on 90bpm while most likely the drum loop is "exactly" at 90bpm.
I don't know how familiar you are with midi editing, but the main idea is to bring the midi part on the exact tempo. As Epic suggested (he warned me I shouldn't call him MrEpic) quantization is one possible approach. Personally I am not a big fan of this method, because if not applied properly is easy to make the part sound too "machine-like". Everything you need to do is to go in the "piano roll" editor (not sure which DAW are you using but most programs offer such feature) and select/move all the notes "bar for bar" so that the first note of the bar is exactly on the 1.beat.
Not so clear I know... but trial and error is what you need!
