Hi Joe,
Nice little gem: of course I had immediately to think at Kraftwerk... and that's not because you are German. It really makes me think to the kind of sound experiments they were doing.
And I agree to the comment of MrCentralsDev: I found it more of an "inside" trip than a space odissey. ;-)
Beside the jokes, for me this type of music stimulates more of an "inner trip".
Very good one!
Ciao, Domenico

Love & Peace & Pfannkuchen
...or should I say Eierkuchen? :-))

PS: Cis and Dis... would have been a cool title!
By the way, I am playing with some colleagues at work and these German chords are always driving me crazy... the difference between a H and a A is not so evident for a poor italian guy :-)

joecramer replied 14th Apr 2015 - 9 years ago
Hey Domenico

Often or better say mostly, i realy dont know in what chords i am playing or working. And it could be that this track is Am7 or anything else, cause i dont know it. I just played around on dis and cis and friends of them :)

Nice to know that you enjoyed your -inner trip-
And thanks for your Kraftwerk in older times comparison, thats realy friendly.

Here we say - Love & Peace & Eierkuchen
but Love & Peace & Pfannkuchen is also nice :)

btw, what is a german chord???? I never heard about "national" chords :)

i did try what you said but i didn't even feel any of your sound. the first i was thinking was it need to be inside a room, so who listen feels they inside the unknowing with some sound comming from inside.
joecramer
joecramer replied 13th Apr 2015 - 9 years ago
Thats no problem at all.

I had that feeling and thats it. A few others had the almost same feeling but that dosen´t mean any. Dosen´t have to work for you the same way. But it work in a way, cause you got some feelings. Thats great! Thats all i wanted to do :)

And this - inside the unknown , with some sounds coming from the inside - is also a cool thing ....

Thanks for the listen and your time

The bass in the intro hit me hard, and I was quite impressed! When the other instruments began to enter, I got the profound feeling that I had heard this before. As far as the ambient genre goes, this is quite cool and vintage sounding. I wish Ian Curtis was around to do some vocals for this one! Nicely done!

joecramer replied 3rd Apr 2015 - 9 years ago
Hey Spivkurl
I tryed to find words for this but didn´t found any. So i would be happy if Ian would do something to this track. Or any other who get words for it.
This bass is a sample from myself. I used it for -Halt mich- and in this track here i used lot of stuff from the intro of that song too. So maybe you listen to it befor or it just sounds like something you listen befor :)

....... ah ja Ian Curtis, that would be cool .......

Du hast es also genau getroffen.

Schön zu hören das es dir gefallen hat.

What a trip :p I have a bunch of space video loops I can share with you if you'd like. I don't recall the name of the site where i got them, but they're royalty free. I think closed eyes is safer hahaha I'm afraid I'm going to crash into that planet!!

Hello phatkatz4
:) Happy to hear that you missed it.

Indeed, i could need one of this loops (or maybe more then 1) for my - alien tribe conection - video i want to make next .....

I looked around for some nice space pics and hubble space telescope offers realy some amazing ones and in extreme good quality (over 6000x8000 and higher if needed). But it is a lot of work to make a flight thru more then one pic :)

Nice to hear that you enjoyed the little trip.

I love the simplicity of this track. It's a brilliant little gem I reckon.

That special type of effect I'm guessing a phaser effect gives it that trippy vibe.

That line 'trip from somewhere into anywhere outside' really played tricks on my mind. Faved this one Joe.

Blessings. - B

Hello Billy.

Nice to hear that you like this track and give it a fav. Thanks for that.
Also cool to know that the "line" "worked" in that way with your mind, ´cause i hoped, in a way, that this would happend .......
I cant say what effect it was/is ´cause this track is a new song, mixed over and into an older remix of some stúff from myself ...... but i think it is just a "vst work."

Thanks for the friendly comment

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.

Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
