Description : I found this one a while ago and I found it very interesting. It was a girl singing to one loop of guitar chords.
I felt like I had to do something with this one and asked Charlene for the vocal tracks.
This is the remix of her work and it has been on the workbench for quite some time now. Nothing has been changed in it for about 5 month.
Tonight i decided to just release it and walk on to a new song. This mastering is far from perfect.
So here it is. Just Because ft Charlene Stevens, Enjoy!

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!

You did good with an already good song. You didn't bastardize it,.... you accentuated it. Nicely done.
The original loop was slightly offset to the beat, so i had to adjust it which causes more adjustments to charlene's song to fit in to the new adjusted beat. I glad you mentioned the Hi-Hat as the drums was played by myself.

Charlene's voice is perfect. And as i wrote in a previous post, she's singing right into the microphone of her mac.
But as i feel it the result is more like "in your face".

so after re-listening to all the stuff and loops I can say that I really appreciate what you did. For sure there's much to improve as the recording still sounds not very clear in my opinion, especially the drums. Probably it is a bass line that generates some strange frequencies at places, I do not know... But overall this is some good effort with nice additions. I understand that creating arrangements and finding perfect instruments might be difficult - I tried many times!

Some times i had to stretch/clip/move the vocal track to get it less offset to my music. The intention was that Charlene would re-record the vocals, but it somehow just didn't happen. But the result is ok anyway.

What i did was to ask for the vocal tracks from Charlene. Then i just added the original guitar, did some time stretch on the guitar and Charlene's vocal as you can hear if you listening carefully at some part, put on my tracks, played the drums the piano and added another track for the acoustic guitar.
