Description : Edit 11-15-15: Added Vocals .Picked up Izotope Iris 2 and this is the fist track I have done with it. I actually have lyrics and vocals for this one but am in the process of fine tuning them since I suck at singing. :) Once I get them to where I feel no one's ear drums will be injured I will render the track again with the vocals. For now what we have is myself on Guitars, Bass, and Keyboards. Addictive Drums are the drums. Reviews, comments and ideas as always are welcomed.

Hey man, this is pretty rockin! As always, I get into your guitar style! Also it's cool to hear you jamming on a keyboard. Possibly it is just the drums, but it could be the whole mp3 render - I hear a lot of artifacts in this audio. Is it possibly a very low bit rate for the mp3 render? Why I mention the drums is because I hear the artifacts especially in the high frequency parts, such as the cymbals - but this can also be a common issue with low bit rate encoding. It does not take away from the excellent performances contained here though, just felt it was worth mentioning. You have a lot of talent, and it is shown with tracks such as this!
Thanks my friend for the listen, comments and input. I appreciate the chance to learn about stuff like artifacts and it was definitely worth mentioning. I checked the Master and I think the EQ on the drums was allowing too much high frequency. I brought it down and the drums sound better.
Thanks again for the really kind words of encouragement. I will render it again as soon as I finish off the vocals.
you should try turn abit up on the drums then make parts for your first vers then corus or corus first then vers the corus should at least be 30secs then a min or a min and half for vers..
I have concluded I CANNOT!! sing, even with all of todays wonderful software... :D so spoken word is good enough for me where my tracks require vocals. Have you checked out MtPowerdrum, free here on Looperman software section. I like them as much as Addictive Drums (use them both) I'll have to check out Iris :D Always love new toys :p Finally got an audio interface, You were right, plugging into mic/line in is a PITA!!! Very cool, be watching for the finished product with vocals :D
I hear ya bro. Never realized how hard singing is. I downloaded that drum program but have not used it yet. Glad the Audio interface is working out for you. I love mine.
Still trying to work on the vocals I have recorded might have to post it up as is. Not sure I can improve them anymore.
Thanks for listening and for the info.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
